Top dollar for food that’s far inferior to taco stands in the area, takes forever to get food (55 min), only outdoor seating and poor communication when there’s issues/delays with your food.
When we arrived there were NO other people in line, after we placed our order the young lady at the register told us it will be 15-20 minutes and she would bring it out to our car.
After seeing multiple people come and go WITH their food (about 30 min after we ordered) we finally rolled down our window and asked where our food was she asked “what was your order again?” So I gave her the receipt. After waiting 10 more minutes I went inside and asked what was going on? They said California burritos take 15 minutes each and their Grubhub orders are higher priority. At that point I asked why was I told 15-20 minutes for the whole order then? The older lady stepped in and stated I should have been told fries take a long time. At this point she said the order is almost done and pointed to the nachos on the counter which is how I know they were prepared first. Minutes later I asked for a refund because she said it will be another 10 minutes. She then told me she can’t process the refund until Monday so we chose to just wait since we had already paid. When she finally brought out the food they didn’t provide an apology, free drinks, napkins OR even salsa. The lady did offer us water for the inconvenience her exact words were “I’m not the manager so I can give you some water” which is a slap in the face after I paid $100 for poorly made burritos that were falling apart in the container and soggy nachos that were room temperature, clearly the nachos were made first and sat on the counter for an hour so that’s nice. Oh beware they also make you add a tip BEFORE you get your food, whoever replied to my original review says you don’t have to tip first which is incorrect because when you place your order, you pay before they make the food WHICH AT THAT POINT is when you add the tip. Not AFTER you get your food so you should probably know how your store takes payments before telling people incorrect information. Funny how you say you don’t have records of an order that long yet my life 360 app shows the time frame I’m referring to. My gps shows we arrived at 5:40pm and left at 6:42pm, definitely weird that I have transactions and GPS to prove it and since you clearly have my transaction you can see we got it TO GO.

This restaurant is hands down one of, if not our favorite in San Antonio. Food is absolutely incredible every time we visit. No matter what you choose on the menu from top down, you will never be disappointed with your choice. Always fresh, always amazing and we will always make S.A. Carlitos Way our primary spot for authentic Mexican food. Thank you and stay amazing!!!!

This is, literally, a hidden gem! Really cool small local restaurant in a great location. The mixed Birria and Asada street taco and cheesy Shrimp Fajita were delicious, flavorful, and juicy too. Their broth in a cup (you can’t miss it) is so full of amazing spices and broth and you dip your tacos in it. It takes your tacos to another level! We also ordered a corn in a cup and that was delicious too! ? Everything is so fresh and the service was excellent and most importantly, it’s very welcoming! Got to meet the owners and I was really appreciative as the owner knows sign language because I’m hard of hearing. They are very down to earth and love to communicate with their customers. This is my street taco spot and love the fact that it’s just down the road from my house! ?

I stumbled upon this little gem. Let's just say their flavors set them apart from the other Mexican restaurants. They're from California, and you can tell the difference in the flavor. I freaking love it. There's a small area inside to order your food, and they deliver your food to you. All seating is outside. I've heard California Mexican food is awesome. Yes, it is!
San Antonioians, go check them out! Your taste buds will love you for it!

We got the ramen, the birria tacos and an asada taco! Soooo good! Tacos were filling and the watermelon drink is a must! Definitely coming back!

5 stars all around, I found this place on Google and decided to try it. I am glad we landed here because the food was amazing, service was excellent, and the feel was very welcoming and homey. I found my new taco spot, highly recommended.
