I will never go to sa seafood it's dirty the manager uneducated so make sure you check ur food at the restaurant cause they won't remake it a different day I was a customer from day one now they just lost a good customer if your the owner you need to fired the manager...........

SA Seafood on De Zavala is hands down one of our favorite spots in San Antonio! My wife absolutely loves their shrimp and crab boils — perfectly seasoned, packed with flavor, and always cooked just right. While seafood is her thing, I’m all about their chicken wings — honestly some of the best in town: crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The portions are generous, the service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is a little warm with all the Texas sun beaming into their front windows… but taking the delicious food to go fix’s that issue. My only complaint is the lack of fresh-brewed tea. Not everyone wants sugary tea from the dispenser. All in all, SA Seafood is a perfect spot for both seafood lovers and wing fans alike- but not tea fans!!

I liked going to this place years ago when I was in UTSA. Recently I noticed the portions sizes are smaller while prices are higher. Not a crazy big deal. Hated the shrimps I got in the seafood boil. It was very tough and chewy and each one was unclean. Was a pain and a regret tbh. Will always recommend the Cajun fried rice though. Nothing else is up to par.

I was really disappointed with my recent order. The shrimp were not cleaned properly, which made them unpleasant to eat. On top of that, instead of being served in a boil bag, my food was put into a plastic container filled with butter and juice. It leaked through the bag and onto my clothes, which left me highly upset. This was not the experience I expected.

Holy smokes this place is the jackpot of seafood boils. It had been years since I got my hands on a good one and I had been daydreaming about it for the past year. My husband pulled off the ultimate surprise and brought me here, and let me tell you I left happier than a crab at high tide. The flavors were bold, the seasoning was spot on, and every bite tasted like the boil I had been waiting for. I honestly don’t think I have ever had a seafood boil this good in my life.
No lemons in to go order. The basics for catfish. I had hot sauce at home.

I got the single catfish filet with 3 shrimps, fries and drink. Everything was well made, food was hot, fries had great seasoning.
The shrimp could have been bigger but they were still tasty.
Overall, I recommend this place for lunch, its a place were you order, sit, eat and go.

Their food lacks flavor. I bought the chicken fried rice spicy. Nothin spicy about it. The fried Ralph’s and shrimp needed salt and the spring roll tastes like old oil. I will never go back. The staff was kind and helpful but food not great.
