We had takeout and it was delicious! I usually always order the same dish at a new Mexican restaurant so I can compare apples to apples and they had some really delicious enchiladas verdes! The charro beans and rice were great too! Definitely need to go again!

Disappointing Experience, Not Worth the Price
My boyfriend and I found this spot after realizing the restaurant we originally wanted to visit required reservations. We always love trying local places while traveling, and after reading the positive reviews, we were excited to give it a go.
The atmosphere was nice, and the outdoor seating was great since the weather was perfect. Our waitress was friendly, though a bit inexperienced, but that didn’t bother us much. Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown.
We started with the chips and queso, and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. The queso tasted like the processed cheese you get at a stadium, and it was served cold. For $9.99, the portion was incredibly small.
For our entrees, things didn’t get any better. My boyfriend ordered the beef fajita enchiladas, and what arrived was ground beef wrapped in cold tortillas that weren’t properly heated. He also asked for queso on top, which was the same cheap, cold cheese we got with the chips. I ordered the poblano enchiladas with chicken, and they were served cold. The chicken was soggy and unappetizing, and I couldn’t even finish it. The rice and beans didn’t taste fresh, and the rice was especially disappointing—tasted like it came from a grocery store ready-to-eat section.
The waitress was kind enough to take the enchiladas off our check, but I was still charged for the side of rice. As someone who’s worked in the food industry, I would have expected the poblano meal to be comped entirely since I didn’t eat it out of courtesy.
To top it all off, the margaritas, while decent, were small and overpriced at $12 each. Our total ended up being $60 for two small margaritas and two mediocre meals, which wasn’t worth it in our opinion.
Overall, we would not recommend this place. It felt like the food came from a grocery store and was quickly thrown together. For the price, we expected much better quality. There are plenty of other local spots that are more deserving of your time and money.

I went before noon by myself. Place was not full, yet the service was too slow. I tried to pay with a gift card, however due to computer issues I wasn't allowed to pay with the card. I didn't enjoy having lunch here. Once I use up my gift card, I'm never going back b/c I know of better restaurants with faster service, lower prices and better food portions.

Very laid back atmosphere with a choice of indoor or outdoor seating...so beautiful either way . The food is good and the mole and poblano enchiladas were tasty. We came all the way from Aurora ,CO to Sabor Cocinabar...totally worth it..my husband and I will definitely be back to enjoy more of this menu, again very decent prices and kick ass food, thank you Sabor for a wonderful birthday dinner treat ? ? ?
Vegetarian options: If I were vegan I would definitely eat here...
Parking: If parking is full so is the restaurant, it fills up quick from what I saw when we were there...it was four tables full when we arrived by the time we left, it was full...get there before 6pm
Kid-friendliness: Saw a few kids there enjoying themselves...
Wheelchair accessibility: Nice and flat..no problems for wheelchairs, there are spots as well for handicap parking...
We had enchiladas and chilaquiles between our party, this food was excellent. However we also had a strawberry & banana waffle and arroz de leche but this was aweful. The arroz de leche was more like soup and expensive. I would go again but I will skip the dessert at this place.

Definitely recommend this place. Good Mexican food and great atmosphere. Amazing customer service. My family’s meals were small pozole, flautas, pechuga poblana and asado de puerco en chile guajillo. All meals were delicious and well served portions. Our waitress had great recommendations on margaritas. Spicy watermelon jalapeño margarita, is a must have.
