Food 3 | Service 2 | Atmosphere 2 | Confusing and disappointing experience. Went here on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm 11/2/24 and expected a wait but it was surprisingly not busy, unfortunately we did still wait over 10minutes to not only be seated but even acknowledged while we saw servers chatting. Our server was.. distant and overall unfriendly. During our time there she did spill a drink over another guest and so we thought that was possibly affecting her attitude though we still continued to get glares and eye rolls the entire time. We said our hellos and please and thank yous as we have always done yet she stayed the same. Our food and drinks did arrive promptly but we never saw our server after the items were very quickly dropped off with no words and then she never came by again until the next items, no check ins or refills etc. We waited for our to go boxes for 20 minutes and asked her three times and a manager once. It was... odd. There was a large table being served at one point so I can understand a wait but there was our server taking care of that table aswell as 2 seemingly managers close by/helping her, one of whom we asked for boxes and we received a not so nice laugh and a sure then never saw her again except to slowly walk around the area. As I said above our server never came by to check in only drop off items and didn't stick around and so during the long wait for our boxes she finally came and boxed the items up, again silently we were then handed the bill. Not asked if we wanted to order more or asked about dessert just our boxes from our mains and the bill which we hadn't asked for. Everyone we interacted with from the hostess who seated us to our server and the manager just seemed unfriendly. A different manager who served us our mains was the only person who asked us if we wanted anymore bread or sauces etc and actually spoke to us. The food was presented nicely but our steaks were only just warm and our mac and cheese dried or rather had congealed into glue almost. Even more disappointing was that this was our first time here AND my mother in laws birthday meal. Will most definitely not recommend.

The service was awesome. Our server was right on top of it. My favorite steak is the ribeye so I ordered the ribeye and I asked for them to not add their seasoning salt. I just want salt and pepper on my steak and they did just add salt and pepper, which made my steak very tasty and I always order rare and this was rare, very happy
I was just as ecstatic to find out that the quail legs were back! I also noticed that it was a little bit smaller before it was on a rectangle plate with about seven. This time it was in a bowl with about four. I believe it was around the same price. Put nonetheless, the bloody Mary and the quail legs and salad were awesome.
Wheelchair accessibility: Well not a wheelchair but a cane. Which was relatively easy for me to come in. I chose to sit at the bar

This place is doing so much right, it's hard for me to find a down side....oh wait...there was only one....the alcohol charges are ridiculous. (NOTE: charging 12.25 for one shot of whiskey THEN hitting you for 3.25 for the soda you put with the shot of whiskey is BONKERS) Otherwise, the food is on point!!
