We Normally Love this place. Anytime we go to the mall we get food here. Sometimes we even order from a delivery app. 1st 2 times great. This recent order, we always get me beef with shrimp with extra shrimp. And they sent just a normal order of shrimp and beef. Which is stupid. We pay extra for the shrimp plus the fee for delivery. And to get my food and it’s just a normal portion is pathetic. Take pride in your customer satisfaction. Especially when customers like ourselves order or go there a lot. Bottom line I’m very unhappy paying all this money for minimum portions. The last two orders were perfect, this one was hardly any beef or shrimp.
Love the teriyaki chicken plate and the rice is good
Great food and lots of it.
Love this place… it’s the only one in San Antonio that I know of.. but I go out of my way to go to the mall just to order for take out! Yum! The food is fresh and delicious!
I used to love this place at the mall. The portions would be really good. Now they don't serve you the same but over all I still think they have really good food.
my son works at the mall and was getting off. he told me it's not the place he has brought home before but I assured him the ratings were better. the spring rolls were soggy and no sweet and sour or sweet chili included. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and shrimp with vegetables the food wasn't very flavorful but there was a large portion so I will probably go get stuff to doctor it up. Veggies had a vinegar flavor, I really hope it was rice vinegar and not sour from spoilage. ty for your time.
Delicious!!!!!
I love this food!!!!
I recommend it 💯% . The atmosphere, it's the mall, if you don't like being around a lot of people get the app and take it home. Actually get the app and order ahead, there's almost always a line, it's that good
The best :)

I love Sarku Japan. My husband and I have been customers since they opened in Ingram Mall. The portions are huge, more than worth the price. I wish they would bottle the YUMMY sauce so I can have it at home! We always order double meat and double sauce. Even our 3 kids love it. 😍
I was excited to try this place after seeing so many 5 star reviews, but my experience was beyond disappointing, it was outright dangerous. My fiancé placed an order on Wednesday, Feb. 12, and that’s where the nightmare began.
First red flag: We ordered the deal that included dumplings with an entrée. Guess what? No dumplings.
Second red flag: I specifically requested brown rice with my teriyaki chicken but was given plain white rice instead. Not a deal-breaker, but still careless.
But the worst part? The chicken. After just a few bites, I could tell something was off. I immediately threw it away, but the damage was already done. I ended up with severe food poisoning that turned into an internal infection. I spent five days in excruciating pain, unable to eat or even drink fluids without feeling like I was being stabbed in the stomach. It got so bad that I had to visit the ER. I’ll spare the rest of the horrific details, but let’s just say this was one of the worst food experiences of my life.
I wanted to love this place, but after what I went through, I wouldn’t risk eating here again—nor would I recommend it to anyone I actually like. Proceed at your own risk.
I ordered the chicken teriyaki for my fiancée and I on February 12th through uber eats. The petty complaint is they forgot the dumplings I ordered and gave white rice instead of brown rice. But the major complaint was the chicken teriyaki. My fiancée ate a few bites and said it tasted off so she threw it away. That evening, she started having intense stomach pain and I was able to convince her to go to the ER today on February 16th after she missed 3 days at work. They found that she has a stomach infection and a high white blood cell count.
I recommend
That chicken teriyaki hits everything the veggies could use some more flavor. Ive bien coming here for 20 years
