Great little French breakfast Cafe downtown. Owner was very helpful and pleasant. True French owned place. Food was excellent. I had ham and cheese on toast with an egg. I can pronounce the name... lol, picture attached
La Boulangerie is hands down our favorite Bakery in SA. Not the fanciest pastries in town, but their baguette is by far the most flavorful with great texture. And all of the baked goods are top notch. Crepes are one of our favorites, and the sandwiches are always great. The cravette is my favorite pastry there, but you really can't go wrong.
I was just walking downtown when I came upon this place. I always wanted to try macarons and I ended up buying a box of them with one of each flavor. I shared it with my family when I got home and they all loved it! Owner is very nice and I hope to try the lunch menu at some point. But yes, merci La Boulangerie for making such a tasty treat (and scratching something off of my food bucket list). Oh I am keeping the box for other purposes, it's so pretty!
