We celebrated my husband's birthday at Scuzzi's and had a delicious meal, from Diana's recommendation for wine, appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. Great food and great service! We'll be back!

Disappointed. I had a 6PM reservation. I arrived early and waited along with a family with a very active child. When they attempted to seat me next them, I asked for a different table. The person seating me became very rude telling me this was the table they set up for my party and if I want another I will have to wait. Since its not 6PM yet, I tel them I'm fine waiting. I pass 3 booths & 5 4 tops open on my way back to wait. We are seated shortly after in one of the open tables. We are pretty much ignored by the staff. Our food takes forever. I order Chicken Florentine with gluten free pasta. I came with very little sauce and cold pasta that was just placed around the chicken, in no way incorporated in the meal. I tried to pay with a gift card. They refused to take it. The manager came over and rudely commented that the card was purchased at Costco, like it was beneath him to say Costco, they will not take it. I should take it back to Costco & get my money back. This was supposed to be a celebration. I was treated poorly, my food was mediocre, one of my party got sick from her meal. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Our moms favorite restaurant, as good as Olive Garden, and a few better tasting meals, without the loooong wait times. You will enjoy the quieter atmosphere.

Two friends and I went in to enjoy HH and apps. It’s advertised as half price bottles on Tuesdays. We ordered our wine, the bartender brought them out and poured our glasses and then mentioned that they’re only 1/2 with an entree purchase. Not how it’s advertised but ok. We ordered our entrees. Told the waiter we’d split the check in thirds even. First time they came back WAY off. Explained the issue. Came back wrong 3 more times before we gave up and signed our checks. The bottles were charged at full price but divided by 3 ??‍♀️ We won’t be back. Too much work.

Santino’s Italian GrillThe name change threw me off, but the food is DIVINE!!! If you want great Italian food, do not miss out on this restaurant!!The Meatball Parmesan is AMAZING, as is the Penne Santino’sMy friend had the chicken cannelloni and she legitimately wanted to lick her plate!!

My friends lasagna was cold in the middle and then they just reheated it. It was not good. It had no flavor. Frozen lasagna would of been better.I had minestrone soup. It was hot but was way too salty.I wouldn't spend that much for lunch again.

While the decor is a little dated the service is great and so is the food, drinks. The owner or chef even came out to ensure my mother in law was happy with her order! Wife said drinks were delish!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. It wasn't too busy for lunch on a Friday. I'm not generally a fan of Italian food, but I thought their food was amazing. We recommend the mustard chicken, and pizza.

I just moved to Boerne , my boyfriend and I have seen this place while going to H‑E‑B and thought we'd give it a try. The prices are pretty high so we expected amazing food . That was not the case , unfortunately. The calamari is rubbery tastes like microwaved calamari. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was $27 for 5 raviolis . It wasn't great everything tasted like it was frozen and put in a microwave. I saw a review stating that you can go maggianos in the rim or Olive Garden for better tasting food and prices .

Tonight we went to Santino's because a friend was showing us the local school's Football Program and in it was a coupon for 20% off. We thought great, we love that place, let's do it tonight! 15 mins later we're there. Things started out rough, the owner was our waiter/bartender, we order a whiskey sour and mojito, the mojito showed up in a martini glass with no ice, which, weird, but whatever, the whiskey sour on the other hand was all sour. I think some whiskey might have made it in with the lemon juice, but not much at all, I couldn't drink it. I asked for a little pour of whiskey to help out the ratio (super easy, 3 parts whiskey, 2 parts lemon, 1 part simple syrup), he took it behind the bar, did something, brought it back. Tasted exactly the same. I said it was a little better just to move things along. Worst whiskey sour I've ever had. Food got out to us, he messed up the order, we got bruschetta and the Santino Sampler (I even pointed at it on the menu), we got the bruschetta, but something other than the sampler. Told him wasn't what we ordered, super nice about everything to this point, he brought out the correct dish. Finishing up, wanted to take the leftover calamari home, so I asked him for a to go box. Takes away the plate to the kitchen, which still had half a piece of fried mozz on it. All I did was ask for a box, I didn't ask for my plate to disappear, we weren't ready. So at this point, we start wrapping up, we show him the coupon from the football program (this year's with no expiration on it), he immediately states that's not me, that Scuzzis. No bud, it says Santino's, plain as day. He holds it up, squints at it, says, I didn't do this, this isn't my coupon. Excuse me? It's right there in glossy print in this program. The lady that put the program together was the one that showed it to us tonight. There is no way she did that for grins just to put one over on this guy. After way too much griping he finally says, fine, only on the food. What a cheapskate! So I have to pay $10 for my lemon juice, cool, fine. He asks to tear it out of the program, my wife tells him, no, this is our program, there are pictures of students on the other page, you can take a pic. Refuses to take a pic, demands to be ripped out. She doesn't let him. I said boss, this is going nowhere, go run my card. At this point he hands me back my card and tells me we are no longer welcome at Santino's. I grab it from him and we head out. Never in my adult life have I been given so much crap about a 20% off coupon. I guess the two other parties in the restaurant at dinner time was enough money for them. Can't imagine why they're dead. What a night.
