Came here for my husbands birthday dinner. The food was amazing and it was a nice atmosphere but the service was sub par. Had to get a manager involved to get part of our order so it left a bad impression

If you are looking for a stuffy, high end, get dressed up kind of seafood restaurant, this is not for you. If you want really good seafood in a relaxed environment, it's worth the trip. I got the Cajun shrimp boil with red potatoes, corn on the Cobb, sausage and crab. I'm a big boy and a big eater, and I couldn't finish the meal. You can share this with someone and you both will be full.

Sea monster sandwich is the bomb. Better be hungry when you order this one. And get the Diablo seasoning on the fries.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for wheelchair users to get in and around the seating area.

This is the fourth time I've been here maybe in 2 years. The reason why they're such a gap is because every time I go I seem to have a problem. But I wanted their key lime pie and I was in the neighborhood.

I assumed it would be better and it wasn't. I ordered key lime pie and it was left off my tree. I said just have them bring it to me in a minute I'm going to leave.... As I was refilling my drink I noticed the server had it. I told him four or five times I don't need a bag back there anyway and then took it and gave it to somebody else. So they were cutting another piece when he went to the people that he gave it to you and took it back from them.

My wife and I used to go there quit often for lunch on Sundays before covid changed everything. We then ordered on line and went there to pick up to-go orders. No complaints about the food but some of your staff might need some retraining... Some need a little bit of customer service training. They were rude to me once before so I stopped going to the Rector St. location and started using the Forum location. Both food and staff are exceptional. It's a little farther but worth the trip. I tried Rector St location again this past Sunday. Was there on time. Called from the car to check in... Kicked over to their answering service... Waited a little bit and tried again... Kicked over to answering service again...So I went inside to inquire about my order. I had to wait in line to explain to them that their phone keeps kicking over to the recorded message and they wanted to argue with me... "Well, when did you call?" "Just two minutes ago, from my car, twice". "Well, when did you order your meals?" "Last night, around 9:00 pm." Rolls eyes at me... Why isn't there an assigned employee to check on the parked cars waiting for pick-up orders? They do at the Forum... When I went inside to ask about my order, it wasn't even ready yet. This is now about 10 minutes past my requested pick-up time. The Forum location usually has it ready about 10 minutes ahead of time and sends a text to let me know it's ready. Not Rector St. Looks like I'll be heading back to the Forum location from now on. Rector St. isn't worth the aggravation...

Ate with my father, aunt uncle and cousins earlier this month. I miss the old Sea Island. Didn't get my burger right, I said no lettuce, pickles, onions or mayo. Came out with all of it. I ended up just removing the top patty and demoting down to a regular one patty burger. Service was decent, about the only good part of it. Contacting customer support or offering anything would be void as we Live in Lubbock some 600 miles away.

Haven't had Sea Island in a while, but I have placed online orders twice in the past month recently, and their food has been great, and the price is worth the food you're getting. Love it.
