Do not go to this location if you want authentic Shipley's donuts especially if Shipley donuts are your favorite donut their fillings are not what other locations use their creme donuts have a glaze not a cream inside and their jelly filled are not good they are using their own filings, cremes and glaze the donuts themselves taste like traditional Shipley's donuts but nothing else does beware.

Loved it here. It's one of the friendliest and convenient donut shops in San Antonio. The famous Shipley Do-Nuts was found in 1936 and it's still the name you can trust. Can't say to most business nowadays. The donut was fresh and good prices. The manager Henry was quick to help with the order. Glad to find one of my favorite donut stores in town. Highly recommend for any donut loves and breakfast place. ?☕?
Ps. They got drive thru as well making the order much quicker.

Thank goodness for businesses that still believe in customer service! When another Shipley location turned me away this location came through. As a result, instead of just making a small purchase I doubled my order and am making this my primary location for donuts and kolache on this side of town! Stop by, you will be greeted with a smile and amazing customer service!

The glazed donuts tasted like the HEB bakery donuts. Which is not bad but I expected more from a donut shop with overpriced donuts.

Gave Me hard Kolaches and stale Donut Holes and treated Me like I was scheming when I returned the Donut Holes even though I ate the hard bottomed Kolaches because I was very hungry but decided to return the Donut Holes talking about am I at the right location, Yirp I surely was. Then I directly requested a Manager but Employee acted like She could handle it then I get the cold Manager transfer and have to explain ALL over again and a 2nd time treated as if I'm trying to get over on one order of Donut Holes mind Ya I ATE the Hard Kolaches and didn't even ask for a replacement or refund. I've been coming here since They OPENED and had never gotten stale or hard food. Then to be treated like I'm at the wrong location or treated like I don't know what the Quality of Shirley's taste like when I LITERALLY could walk there and frequent the place I was treated POOLRY and left disgruntled. Even showed Them My ID to show that I LIVE LITERALLY in the NEIGHBORHOOD. Never again unless I'm in a true Time Crunch. Talk about INSULTED.

I picked up a dozen glazed donuts shortly after 6am. I like to pick up in the morning because they are fresh and warm. Today as soon as I opened the box I noticed these were cold so I knew they weren’t the new ones, but also noticed dark spots like when older donuts start getting moldy. It may be hard to tell in the picture but I had to toss the box. I couldn’t share them as intended at work.
