I’d like to share my experience and hopefully save others time and money by avoiding this establishment. I ordered one dozen kolaches and one dozen assorted donuts. Cindy, who took my order in the drive-thru, was very polite but did not provide a receipt.
When I got home, I realized that not a single kolache had been warmed up. I’m not exaggerating—they were all room temperature. I called back and spoke with Cindy, and she told me that since I ordered a dozen kolaches, they could not warm all of them up. Keep in mind, I had no idea that was an issue. Had she told me, I would’ve waited. I also asked her about the receipt, and she said she could print one out for me to pick up or that I could wait until the morning to speak to a manager. She took my name down and said she would let them know.
The next day, when I called, the person who answered was extremely angry for reasons unknown. I could barely understand her, and she started yelling. At one point, I thought I had the wrong number. When I asked to speak to someone else, she put the phone down and began telling someone in the background that I wanted to speak to a manager. After waiting a couple of minutes, she came back and continued yelling at me. When I told her she didn’t have the temperament for customer service, it sounded like she began banging the phone on the counter before disconnecting.
I called back—no answer. I then called the Leon Valley location, and it sounded like the same person answered, but this time she said, “This is the Leon Valley location. If you have a complaint, call corporate,” and disconnected.

I ordered two sausage and egg and cheese kolaches and two donuts. The kolaches were were terrible took one bite ending up throwing them in trash. Never again!

My husband and I visited Shipley Donuts at this location yesterday. The lady behind the counter was so nice. We bought a dozen donuts, a variety because we have different tastes. My glazed or maybe it’s a sugar raised was so stale and tough. The cake donut was just ok. Asked my husband about his filled donuts, he said “Just ok, I’ve had a lot better - won’t go back.” Maybe the donuts were old, not certain. After tax, the total was about fifteen dollars. Dunkin’ Donuts are far better and they usually give a big military discount- probably because they want to make sure that they move the donuts daily. Sorry, but this an honest review They just weren’t good, stale I guess.

Went in for the kolaches and was very disappointed. It was my first time trying them. Got the cheese and sausage. Bought 8 kolaches and 3 apple fritters to share with my coworkers. When I first saw the kolaches I was amazed because they were huge. Once I bit into one the excitement was all over. The sausage was a tiny thing and harly any melted cheese. It was mostly bread. First and last time I will buy them. The apple fritters were very good. Should have just bought apple fritters and donuts. Can't go wrong with donuts.

We went in and bought a 1/2 doz donuts. They were dry, not moist at ALL and seemed to be wold 😳 disgusted!!! I sent an email to corporate and the gaslit me! Talking about thank you for your feedback about your great experience blah blah blah with 2 coupons for a free donut. They don't even care enough to read customer comments!

Finally made it here 6:30 am what a big disappointment my husband went to order a dozen donuts we got yesterday’s left overs jelly fill donut taste like suger bread with jelly no freshness at all back to dunkin donuts what a let down
I ordered 2 sausage and cheese Kolaches and received 2 weiner and cheese kolaches. BIG DIFFERENCE, SO CHEAP and NOT worth it.

I definitely do not recommend this place. I put in an online order and when I arrived was told they didn't have but two of the items I ordered and I could not get a refund. The woman refused to refund me so I had to take items I didn't want. And when I got them home realized they were raw on the inside. It was very disappointing as I was bringing those items back to Missouri for someone who absolutely used to love the kolaches here.
