What has happened to this location? The employees seem like they don't want to be there. Their selection is so small compared to what it used to be. Kolachis were gummy and tasted old. (I went at 6:30am) I am bought an apple fritter, there were no apples in it. So disappointing...

Says open at 5am it's 522 and completely dark. I swear the shipleys in San Antonio suck. I tried this location cause the other one I went to the other didn't barely have any donuts at 530am. Never had this problem in other cities.

Been to this location several times at different hours of the day and they are always out of donuts. Says they are open at 5AM, and I arrived at 545AM and the business was closed and no worker on site.

I’ll never go here again and would advise anyone reading this to try a different location, because this one is the worst. Filthy dirty, poor service, hardly any product in the cases, and the online order I placed two days in advance was incorrect. I was told they were “out” of the chocolate donut holes. How could they be out if I ordered in advance? STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!

This is a fantastic donut shop.The coffee has always been top notch and hot. The donut are warm and delicious. The kolaches are fluffy and full of flavor.The dining area is always clean and the folks working are quick and attentive. I love this donut shop.

I went this morning to pick up a dozen donuts and was disappointed at the selection. I asked the lady that was waiting on me if I was too early because there was hardly anything on the shelves and I didn't getanswer, just a shrug. Please make sure if someone is gonna come in and pay almost $15 a dozen, that there is at least a big selection. I will not be going back.

WARNING!!! I WENT HERE TO THIS SHIPLEY'S FOR MY FIRST TIME BECAUSE I LOVE THEM. But unfortunately when I went here they tried telling me they were out of regular sausage kolaches and when she went to go get them I could clearly see them labeled and there was a tray that was labeled regular. And then I got a strawberry milk and I was charged for a nestlé quix but they gave me the cheaper brand strawberry milk. When I went to leave I'd noticed this and said something and she said that they are all the same price. I know true moo is not the same price as Nestle quicks. Every other donut shop has true moo because it is cheaper and they sell it cheaper than the nestlé. And for them to say that they Don't have the cheaper kolache is because it seems like they wanted to just sell me the more expensive kolache. Just like they sold me the cheaper brand strawberry milk but made me pay the more expensive price. Make sure you check your receipts and you are getting what you paid for. If I had not said anything they would have just let me leave like that I made sure to get my Nestle quick strawberry milk because that is what I paid for not true moo. Even my receipt said nestlé quick
Use to be my favorite Shipley but times have changed. Now there are no apples and they are a strange oval shape and hard. Last time I asked for a dozen mixed donuts and when I got to work there were 4 different flavors and probably the ones that don't sell. Since you can't go inside (at least not early in the morning) it's hard to know the options. The worker inside had her child in there behind the counter running around. I'm guessing there's new ownership. I'll be looking elsewhere from now on.

The kolaches were subpar, and not very warm. Donuts were stale and icing had an off taste. Donut holes were very hard and stale.

The owner would not admit as the coworker did when I was here last week. The box of cream, a tub of cream, is different. It's very runny it's not the same. Their service is below sub par. Their choices are minuscule, and their quality of donuts is subpar

There was a kid, about 9ish, behind the counter with im assuming his mom. He was touching all the kitchen equipment and bags for the donuts. Fiancé and i both got sick and started throwing up 2 1/2 hours after being there. Fiancé didn't even eat anything, the chocolate milk we bought must have been bad as that's the only thing we both had.
