Everybody knows that Shipley’s beats the pants off of fancy Dunkin Donuts. This location is one of the first in San Antonio. No. It’s not cool or hip, but the donuts are plentiful, fresh and delicious. The kolaches are also very fresh. The service is fast, friendly, and the employees were eager to please and very thoughtful in packing and labeling my large order for the office. The location is old, but very clean and on my way to work. Make them your go-to place today!
I picked up a 2g2go bag for the first time drive thru female was rude to me she said she needed my phone she had to press on the app when I had already done so she was upset gave me a bag with 6 donuts not even $18 dollars worth is what the app says, bad customer service will not go to this place again.

I don’t know why I keep going to this location. Never anything positive to say. This time the lady that’s always there she didn’t give me my card back. Yes it’s my responsibility but was in a hurry and drove off. Later realized I didn’t have my card. Went the next morning and she handed it to me, with no apology. 🤦♀️

Delicious doughnuts! Meh kolaches--great yeasty bread with a tiny sausage, a bit of cheese, and lots of jalepenos. I guess if you get here early morn, its more inviting inside, but for our 11am drop by for a quick snack before shopping, the place looked abandoned, doughnut shelves about empty, and one person working in the back--not very appetizing.

I stopped in for a dozen donuts which are just wonderful.
My wife absolutely loves Shipley Do-Nuts and visits occasionally to treat herself. On a recent visit, she picked up some of her favorite donuts only to discover that one was missing from the bag when she got home. We returned to the store shortly afterward to let them know, but by that time, the staff had changed shifts.
We explained the situation to the employee on duty, but she said she didn’t have access to the security cameras and couldn’t confirm anything. Rather than offering any kind of resolution or even acknowledging the mistake, she told me rather rudely, that if I wanted the donut, I’d need to buy it again.
It was disappointing to receive that kind of response, especially from a place we usually enjoy. A little understanding goes a long way.

This was my first time getting from Shipley's and I used the too good to go app. I brought 2 bags that were filled to the top. Great way to save $$ and help from going to waste. The lady at counter was very nice and conversational. I wish I had gotten her name.
