Visited this place midweek in the early afternoon. It's located in a fairly large shopping center but you need to be looking for it. The interior is large, kinda' austere and filled with tables. There were people eating, but it was not crowded. The employees are all Oriental / Chinese. There was also a chalk marked-up menu written in an oriental language. The menu was extensive including the lunch menu. The prices during the lunch period was $10.99 including free tea and a choice of several sides. The food was tasty and the quantity was excellent. The restrooms and the interior were very clean. Although I'm no connoisseur of Chinese food, I have no issues recommending this place for a great lunch. See photos for additional information.

This place is sooooooo good. I got the kung pao chicken and my boyfriend got the spicy chicken. Both were super good. The chicken was a good crispy, not the type of crispy where its just crust, it's the best type of crispy. Everything came out FRESH. The service was amazing. Its my first time here and ill be back for sure.

I can’t say enough good things about Sichuan Garden. If you’re a fan of bold flavors and real heat, this place is a must. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, and wow—it absolutely hit the spot. Perfect balance of spicy, savory, and just the right touch of sweetness. The portion was generous, the chicken was tender, and the peppers packed a serious punch without overwhelming the dish.
You can tell they care about authenticity here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with skill. The staff was friendly, and service was quick even though they were busy.
If you’re craving real Sichuan-style food in San Antonio, this is where you want to be. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the crispy spicy chicken next time. 🔥🔥🔥

Hostess was excellent, the food was not so great... The hostess gave us our menu, when we asked about certain foods, the hostess replied they did not have it. If I am correct the prices are expensive.

Our experience was peaceful. Server greeted my mother n law wife and I after we sat down and did not rush our experience made sure we knew one of our family style dishes had a spice to it, our drinks were refilled and maintained

I had the spicy fried fish. It was delicious. This was the spiciest Chinese food I've ever had. I will def be back to try more. You will need a to go box for this place.
Came here for some lunch. Food was fresh and tasty. Everything is seasoned to perfection. Plates are sharable sizes and they come with sides. The peppers really take you for a loop so be cautious. But overall experience was great. Definitely will be back !
