This is a bar with volleyball courts how amazing of the combination. I was invited to go out. There was a volleyball tournaments I have on Monday nights. This was an lgbtq+ friendly event as there was over 250 gays in this week. Mind blown that there's even this type of community. The drinks definitely weren't strong even if you ordered a double but they must pour to a certain limit I suppose. This was definitely a friendly atmosphere. The bartenders were nice and I would definitely come back to this space again when I'm in the San Antonio area.

As a female, I thought a family friendly bar would be a safe place for me to have a bite and a drink alone from time to time. Unfortunately, over the last year, the bar showed me it is not a safe space for females. I have been accused of prostitution and stealing customer phones by the fri night bartender. The last straw was when I was minding my own business a man 3 times my size started getting aggressive with me and the bartender wanted to kick me out. The bartender should of gotten him away from me. But it seems this bar protects men. No female should ever feel unsafe and unprotected in a bar. I shouldn't have to call to have someone walk me out of the bar, out of fear for my safety.

Had my birthday here, was a little miss communication when asking if they can accommodate for us but when we get there the manager Ms. Honey did her all to make sure we were served and taken care of. She definitely is the best of the best

This has been an epic night here at Sideliners. Indoor Texas Hold'em and outside the vibe is very energetic with all of the sand volleyball going on! A great place for food, drinks and people watching. Oh wait...isn't that considered as stalking? Well whatever...a wonderful spot. There's something for everyone here!
We paid to play, and they kicked us off the court. They didn't tell us that the courts were already reserved. We felt terrible!

I really enjoy the line dance class on Tuesdays it is a perfect combination of dance and good food. I hope they continue to have the classes there just so I can have an excuse to go out and dance/enjoy some food.

Didn't eat anything. Just had a couple of beers and a mixed drink, which was decent. Service was good.

The food was amazing! I had nachos with brisket and fried cheesecake for dessert. It was all delicious! Too bad the service doesn't match the food. I was attending a watch party, and we were seated outside on the patio. I placed my order using their QR code ordering service. It took about 40 minutes for my nachos to arrive.. they did not bring napkins or plastic ware. I had to get up and go to the bar to get my own.. I also ordered frozen margaritas. Well, after waiting over an hour, that drink never came I again went to the bar and was told they were out of frozen margaritas, but they could make it on the rocks.. I passed and asked the bar tender to have the drink removed from my tab. He said he would try but had no guarantees. I was appalled. Another 40 minutes went by, and the drink was still not removed from my tab. I stopped a worker and asked them to get a manager. One never came. I ended up flagging someone down again and it happened to be a manager. I explained everything and he got the drink removed from my tab and gave me a discount.
Food deliverers need to be trained to bring napkins and plasticware when they bring out food.
It was a fun atmosphere..lots of volleyball courts. When I left they were doing karaoke in the main area of the restaurant.

We've been to Sideliners twice for football watch parties. The first was great. But this time it left a lot to be desired. These parties are standing reservations. They didn't have enough help causing the server to not be able to be attentive to everyone. Our food was lukewarm at best & presentation was poor. We got a nice basket of chips - salsa the first time but 1/2 that this time. No drink refill without going up to the bar. If not for the parties, we probably won't go back.
