Went for the crabs last night. The crabs were delicious but the experience was very disappointing. The staff was completely uninformed about the stone crab special nor did they know anything about stone crabs. The restaurant did not have the right utensils for eating the crabs nor did the have any shell crackers. At one point we were using our knives to get the meat out of the shells. The chef is apparently unaware that stone crabs are traditionally served with a special mustard stone crab sauce. We were offered instead cocktail sauce and hollandaise sauce. My wife had sea bass, I had grouper as a main course. The sea bass was served with large strips of prosciutto that resembled bacon more than anything else and the accompanying sauce was unremarkable. The prosciutto should have been chopped. My grouper had no accompanying sauce. It was somewhat bland and dry. Overall it was a very dissatisfying experience.
This restaurant if one of our favorites , and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for upscale italian cuisine. The food, service and atmosphere are always outstanding.
I wish I could give a better review. We had a 7.30 reservation. When we arrived there was nobody at the desk. They were swamped; it took 15 minutes before a server came over. She was great (Carrie? Kerry?). Unfortunately there was a miscommunication with my appetizer order. I had written on my open-table notes that I can't eat raw onion, and reiterated that with her. I ordered tuna tartare, which was full of raw onion, and had to send it back. She did take it off the bill. The complimentary focaccia and tapenade were delicious. My pizza entree was only average. My husband really enjoyed his fried swordfish, and we liked the wine that our server recommended.
The food was excellent . we shared Margarita pizza, squash ravioli, and Bolognese pasta and chocolate dessert. Everything was fantastic.
The food was above average. The server Lee was excellent. She was very knowledgeable of the food and wines. She allow us to sample a few before choosing which one we wanted. The value of the food was good. I would recommend the their Tirimasu and lemon sorbet. 4/5
We had a blast. Our host Levi was knowledgeable and very helpful and the food was AMAZING! If you go and don't try the squid ink pasta with lobster (Aragosta) you have failed! We will be back soon!
Great food and service. Enjoyed our evening, the only issue was a table near us with unruly children.
We loved the apps—mozzarella cheese and tuna tartare were outstanding. Sea bass and butternut squash ravioli were yummy—not overdone and tasty. Our waiter, Moe, was great. Never low on wine, loved his recommendations, and prompt with each course
Everything as top notch-including the drinks! The wild boar gnocchi dish was outstanding! Highly recommend Nonna!
We enjoyed the bolognese, lobster pasta dish, and orzo with seafood. Levi was an attentive, friendly, and professional server. Delicious and nicely paced meal!

Food is ok. Nothing spectacular. Would think a restaurant such as this would have better food.
Staff were great and bartender made amazing drinks. Food very disappointing. Sea bass over cooked and no flavor. Only 2 bites of mashed potatoes on plate. Salad was pretty good.
I want to specifically recognize our server, Carrie!!!!!!! Professional, attentive but not intrusive, a real asset to your business!!!!!
This is the best restaurant in town hands down. Love getting drinks at Nonna’s before sitting down for dinner
