Fabulous food. Excellent service. QUIET atmosphere so you can really talk. Absolutely lovely evening.

While usually our experience is exceptional, this time it sucked. We were there for 25 min and only got our water. Our server was very distracted with another table looking and showing stuff on their phone to other guest for more than 10 min while my wife and i were waiting. Attempted several times to get his attention. We were there for her b day dinner too

Started off great with the appetizer, then the wait started. Food finally came out about an hour later and my shrimp was the the thing warm on my plate. Our waitress we overheard was sent downstairs to make drinks. So when she finally came back she asked if I wanted a box for me to tell her yes so I could take it home and warm it so I could eat it since my husband was already done with his food when anyone came back to even ask how our food was. Food was comped but it was a horrible experience and I will not be going back.

First time visiting this location. Last time visiting this location. Let’s start with the chairs. Many of the chairs were torn and in very bad shape. Let’s talk about the food. Ordered the Red Fish and paid $20 extra for three shrimp. Only received two shrimp and they were tiny and overcooked. When I pay extra for shrimp I expect them to be sizable. I alerted the waiter and he did bring me two more. The Brussel sprouts were very salty. The chicken fried oysters, lamb chops and ahi were all very good. I have been to the 1604 location many times and always enjoyed our meal. We were all disappointed in our meal at the Alamo Heights location. We won’t return.

So here is the issue - on Open table it shows half price wine on Tuesday and Wednesday - so we chose Tuesday for Restaurant Week. Had a great dinner - when bill came - wine was full price. Asked about it - waiter went to manager - manager said can't get wine deal with Restaurant Week! Look at the open table info - see anything about exceptions? Truly disappointing!! They also owe us a gift card promised on Restaurant Week add, we will see.

Came here with a large party. This place is always great and the food is in my top 5 of places in San Antonio. There was a slight mix up in the orders and the entire staff went above and beyond and fixed the issue (wasn’t much of an issue) but they were all super nice about it! It is hard to find a restaurant like this now days.

Wonderful impromptu date night. Silo on Austin Hwy was perfect. Culinaria trip. We like how quiet the restaurant is. Service by Ray was impeccable and food excellent. Great value. Wine was delicious. Well curated.

Silo has always had wonderful food and service. Waited on hand and foot. Always recommend Silo to friends.

A favorite in SA and they have half price bottles of wine on Tuesday & Wednesday. The Pei Mussels are not to be missed!

First time going to this SILO. Have been to the one on I 10 and the roof top one. This one is a little different. Upscale atmosphere above another restaurant you can look down into if you r table is on the side. The night we went, was quiet. Service was very good. Food was excellent. We stuck to sharing small plates. Very much enjoyed the fig salad, mussels (sauce is great for dipping bread in), shrimp ala Plancha, and lamb lollipops. Were a little disappointed no raw oyster bar but will still worth going to.

One of the best meals I've had in some time. Enjoyed every minute. Eric was a wonderful server. Only disappointment was we forgot our leftovers!
