Slim Chickens is located inside of the Fort Sam shopping area. It offers very unhealthy, fatty food for a great price but generic taste. I ordered the Mac and cheese chicken bowl and could not finish it due to how buttery and overwhelming the Mac and cheese was. There are far better tasting and healthier options around Slim Chickens.

For starters I DoorDash and asked for a cup of ice and the dude charged me $3!!!!!! For a cup or ice . He charged me for a soda and as it’s a food court , he saw me walk straight out the doors with just the cup of ice . That’s ALL I wanted .
But even more so, the staff is completely rude , constantly ignoring me and others while standing at the counter .

Ordered my food and multiple people who ordered after me received their food while I was still waiting. I waited 20 minutes and after asking multiple times finally found out my food was just sitting in the back. It was missing items and cold and they did nothing about it. Don’t come here
This was my time trying this place. I ordered my food through Door Dash. All I have to say is delicious. My new favorite wingstop.

Wow I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. I come here regularly with my mom and nephew and we’re always pleased with our family order! This place beats places Bill Millers or Canes any day; there’s actually flavor in the chicken! Fries are good, they always give more than enough. Macaroni is okay but still tasty, and the gallon of tea is yummy. I wish they were more available around SA! Also, don’t forget to grab a brownie!!

Pretty average. Wants to be like raising canes but the government version. Slims sauce is the way to go if you decided to go for it. Chicken tenders were tender and fell apart easily. Not too crispy. Fries were okay. Ranch is too salty for me. Bread was ok.
