This was my first time at Smashing Crab and everything was amazing. The service was great, our server Amanda and Jermaine was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
I ordered the Crab Trap, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. To top it all off, they even gave us a free dessert, which was a really nice touch.
Overall, it was a fantastic first visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving great seafood and excellent service!

Had a great experience at Smashin Crab in San Antonio! The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Portions were generous, and the sauces were absolutely on point. Update: I made this post 4 years ago and have not been back since. The business just now responded to the review. Been going to Mr. Crabbys since. Plus for the price and size of snow crab, not worth heading all the way to Stone Oak from Cibolo, when a Me. crabbys is like 5 miles away.

Absolutely the best of the best and then some! Food was sooooo good that we were ready to lick the taste of the walls. Great service, Outstanding selection, and Fabulous Results. Food was Hot, Fresh, Tasty, and Flavor packed down to the last bite. Hostess was extremely helpful, had an extensive knowledge of menu , and was courteous beyond measure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and 👍👍. This establishment is a MUST try if you are in the area. We will be back to throwdown on this seafood bonanza soon. Thank you for having us and serving up such a Great experience.

Not inviting and oysters looked and tasted like they were pre shucked and left in a walk in cooler. Dry and stuck to the shell. We forced ourselves to finish the last two of the dozen. Ain't gonna waste 38 bucks! Really don't know why everyone rated it excellent, far from it. As a server/bartender myself, who ever served us needs a ton of professionalism and customer service training. Not going to put him on blast but didn't seem to want to be at work at all. So 3 stars...

We’ve come to this establishment multiple times throughout the years. This last visit was a little worrisome. The restroom was horrendous and it was obvious that the head off shrimp was frozen prior, similar to something I’d get at HEB or Walmart in the frozen section. Definitely not as upscale as our previous visits. Saving grace was our server. He did amazing.
