My son was graduating from BMT and wanted real Texas BBQ but wasn't able to look any up (didn't get his phone until he left base). I found Smith's truck online, saw the picture and knew this was where we had to go. Close to base and just a truck. We took ours back to our Airbnb cause it was 100° and we weren't going to sit outside. We bought 2 4 meals and had a ton of food for later. Great decision. Enjoy.
Pulled up and could smell the BBQ on the grill. I couldn't wait to try EVERYTHING on the menu. So, basically I did and was not disappointed. I love BBQ and and being retired military, i've had probably every barbecue you possibly could.
Picked up a couple of plates from Smiths BBQ, and I wasn't disappointed. Large portions, juicy ribs that fell off the bone, tasty chicken, mouth-watering sausage, and the brisket is amazing.

Mr Smith, the man you are. By far the best BBQ I've ever had. All the flavors melted so well together like that one ratatouille scene. Ykwim.😌Everything was phenomenal from the chicken to the ribs, cream corn, green beans and the BREAD. My goodness, some good BBQ bread, he knows how to pick em! Best believe Mr Smith got that koolaid sweet tea! Some REAL texas tea. Mr Smith was very informative and too sweet! Felt right at home, will be coming back for a plate anyday<3
