I ordered a PB Delight bowl on January 2, 2026, at approximately 10:15 AM. The order was prepared by employee Caitlyn C. at the Potranco location.
About five bites into eating the bowl, I noticed something foreign in my mouth. I immediately removed it and realized it was a large piece of plastic. I stopped eating right away and returned to the store to report the issue.
When I brought it to the attention of the staff, I was told it may have come from a new container they were using. While I appreciate the explanation, the situation was extremely alarming. The plastic was large enough that I could have easily choked, and I am also concerned that there may have been additional pieces of plastic in the bowl that I could have unknowingly swallowed.
This experience was frightening and unacceptable, and I wanted to formally document the incident due to the serious health and safety risk involved.
I look forward to your response and an appropriate resolution.

Update: I am increasing the stars on my review from 1 to 3, because the last few times I have ordered my delivery of 44 ounce smoothies, they have come properly packaged in the bag with the appropriate length straw. If this continues, then I will increase my review to five stars.
I order 44 ounce smoothies from this Smoothie King on a very regular basis, and at least five times my smoothies have arrived with no straw. So with it being a 44 ounce smoothie, a normal straw does not work in the cup. About three or four times it has arrived with no bag or no receipt or no sticker or anything over the opening to the cup.
The DoorDash drivers that are used to deliver the smoothies when you order through the Smoothie King app, do not pick up straws. It’s really not their responsibility to pick up straws either, it really is the responsibility of the store to put the order together. I’ve even received a smoothie that they placed in a bag with the receipt, but then they didn’t put a straw in the bag with the smoothie.
I’m not really sure why this is such a difficult thing to do, because every other fast food place that you go to they just put the straw with the cup automatically. I don’t understand why they won’t do that here. I also don’t understand why the workers don’t know to put a straw in the bag for delivery orders. Any order that isn’t carry out should be in a bag with the receipt and a straw appropriate to the size of the cup.

I gave two stars only because the people at this location are usually very nice, HOWEVER, they are ALWAYS giving me the wrong smoothie. It’s like they don’t pay attention to what they’re doing. And they ALWAYS have someone new working there, which I assume is why my orders are never correct. It’s super annoying to go through the drive-through and leave with the wrong smoothie. Tighten up your employees. I’ve worked in customer service for years, and constant mistakes that can easily be avoided by double checking orders is my biggest pet peeve.
Store looked and smelled great! My PB swizzle was on point! Staff and service was awesome!

I went through the drive-thru at Smoothie King on Potranco and was immediately greeted with voices so warm and cheerful, you could hear the smiles. That kind of energy is rare—and so appreciated, especially in a fast-paced job like this.
Shanez and Takira welcomed my daughter and me with genuine enthusiasm and kindness. I asked about the PB Swizzle, and they both lit up, saying it was a great choice. Shanez made it look so good, I couldn’t wait—I tasted it right there in the drive-thru and WOW. It was bomb! While I was still enjoying mine, Takira whipped up my daughter’s mango smoothie and even asked her to taste it to make sure it was just right. It was delicious!
This kind of service deserves recognition. We’ll definitely be back—and Smoothie King, if you’re reading this: give those girls a raise. They’re the reason we’ll keep coming back.

I went in this morning after working out. I was excited because I hadn’t been in a couple of year due to having babies. I could see 2 girls in there talking and when I walked in, one went to the back and the other stayed in the front. Shanez greeted me. She was busy herself, but the other employee didn’t have her headset on and was “busy”. Shanez asked her a couple of times if she had her headset on, but nada. Shanez asked if I was ready and I was so she took my order. She did apologize about the other employee and I just smiled and said no worries. But when this other employee came out, she looked annoyed. Had some attitude, but Shanez made my drinks and I left. Although I didn’t interact directly with the other person, her attitude was enough to turn me away. Thankfully Shanez was very kind and helpful. Shanez made my experience 5/5, but lost a star because of the other employee. It ruined the vibe.

5:30 10/8 only 1 customer in store had me waiting 10min in The drive-through because the workers wanna be talking the whole time on top of that spilled my whole shake because they don’t know how to put the lid on right get a manager over there or something

This place isn't doing well. 45 minute wait in the drive thru. I sat at the window another 10 min staring at no one making anything. I only ordered 1 smoothie

I visited smoothie King on Potranco and 1604 on September 9 and had a horrible experience With the drive-through attendant. She was extremely disrespectful to me. Since then, they refuse to give me owner or manager information for that location. I’ve called several times to connect with someone and the children that work. There are keeping me from talking to management. I’d love to get contact with the general manager or manager of this location. Please reach out to me. I have additional photos of the young woman. I’ve included this one so other customers can also be aware. She has black hair with red streaks throughout - customers beware. I paid for my drink and then threw it away because I did not trust that it was made correctly - That’s how bad she was behaving in the drive-through.

Absolutely terrible customer service from Genesis, we arrived before closing time and we have 3 high schoolers with us 2 are foreign exchange students and one student insisted on paying for his own drink. So we place our order and then Genesis walks to the back area immediately without taking one students order. Comes back and says it’s 9 pm on the dot so we aren’t taking anymore orders. I was astounded by how rude she was towards us. And when I asked for her manager, her manager talked to me as if we arrived after 9, I told her we arrived before 9 pm and when she asked Genesis if this was true she said yes so then the manager decided to still take our students order. All the while, two other families walk in after us, well after 9 and they did not once get snarky remarks of them being closed and no longer taking orders. I will be sure to never go back to this location and share with everyone at the gym, my fellow board members and colleagues this awful experience. Never have I been so baffled to see a business refuse money when that place is about as empty as Fred’s Fish Fry every time I go in or drive by.

I don’t know why it takes forever, and there are only two cars in front of you. I literally waited 20 minutes in line for a smoothie, so I left. And I wanted to call, but no one ever picks up the phone. This location has been like this for some time now.
Ugh, I need to schedule a vacation day to get service here.
