Bussin!!! The baked chicken and gravy is fire! The yams bussing! The Mac n cheese isn't nasty, but it's kinda mid. It went well with the catfish though, and the catfish is fire too! I was salty they were out of the banana pudding and they only had a few servings left of peach cobbler so I'm pretty sure that means it's good. The kool-aid is banging. Fresh and hot! Made to order! Definitely will be a repeat customer!??✊?

Loved everything! Nothing like getting a home cooked meal while traveling. I had a craving for some catfish and decided to check this place out. Catfish was amazing! Greens and Mac n cheese were delicious. Topped off my meal with some banana pudding. My son got the wings and enjoyed them as well. All reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. Great price for such quality of food. Will definitely come back again the next time I visit San Antonio.

I love black owned business, but the food was awful. Rice was watery, greens had no flavor, shrimp was soggy, and fried chicken tasted like batter. I really want to like it! Maybe I came on an off day. :(

Family owned. Mom and Pop feel. Food is great and cooked fresh to order. Mac and cheese is on the garlicky side but still good. Dining area and women's restroom is clean. I eat there at least once a week. No credit machine but CA, apple pay and of course cash are accepted.

I was looking for something good to eat while in the area. Read the reviews and decided I should try it. I was really looking forward to just the catfish plate, but decided on a two meat meal. I had the catfish and shrimp with sides of greens, broccoli cheese casserole, and cornbread. Great portions, I was stuffed. I didn't, but I wish I would have asked for cocktail sauce for the shrimp. They did have tarter sauce, but it was a walmart brand and nothing special, but it did not ruin the meal. This place reminds me of a little shrimp shack on the water in N.C. that I haven't been to in years. The food is outstanding !!! I would like to try the porkchops and county fried steak, and I swear I heard someone come in after me and asked about meatloaf. But when I go back, I think im going for the 3 meat plate so I can try a variety of meats. They were out of fried okra, but the greens are quite possible, the best greens I have ever had !!! I wanted to try the banana pudding, but I was too full to eat anything else. I had leftovers to go. Im telling you, the reviews don't lie. This place is the cats meow !!! I will be back !!! And damn I want some banana pudding now.
