The food is excellent. I had the beef with mushroom, it talk l taste great. And the wonton soup is very good. You have to try for yourselves. Excellent place

I’ve been here since I moved here in 2000. Same building same food (the same) faces have changed but customer service is always good.. change in atmosphere could be better but then again why change something that’s been fair. But for the $price food is good and they give u plenty . this is also my mom’s favorite when I can bring her I will she is older but she loves going going here…I bring my mom mortised and I live in valley HI so it’s worth it

Took my husband out for tea. Ordered king prawns with cashews. My hubby took a bite, to find metal off a scorer pad. Inform staff who took meal away and replaced it with another. Then paid for the meal to then be charged full price regardless. No apologies nothing. Will never go back

False advertising, need to remove takeaway menu pamphlets, tried to order but they advised no delivery for our location , yet was in their allocated return time.

We had a party of 28 on Friday night. I called ahead to let them know we'd have a big party. They were great. Food was quick and good, we had plenty of refills. Definitely worth it. The owners are awesome for helping out too. That's why we keep coming back.

South Garden Chinese Restaurant is one of just two Chinese dine-in places we truly love—and for good reason. We usually visit during dinner and almost always go for their combination plates, which are consistently flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned.

The staff here really elevate the experience. One employee in particular (though I don’t know his name but he is in his 40’s) always makes us feel welcome and at ease. He’s knowledgeable about the menu and often suggests great options, which we appreciate. His service is thoughtful and attentive, and it’s a big part of why we keep coming back.

If you’re looking for delicious Chinese food served with genuine hospitality, South Garden is a must-try.

This used to be our go to Chinese food restaurant because it was well priced and so delicious however this past time we went the food was well not the best. The lo mein had a peculiar scent, it almost spelled like dirty water/cleaning products. It just completely turned me off to eating my food. And the lemon chicken was very dry. Maybe it was just a bad day but I’m not willing to go back.
