One of the better locations in San Antonio. Aby stood out to me today with her problem solving skills and kind service.
If I could give zero stars it would be fine, don't go to this store if you don't want to have a bad time, I went to ask for the bathroom for an emergency and they denied it to me when I was going to consume there after that, terrible service especially from the employees
Kane the new gentleman who worked there was so amazing but the lady in red hair and black hair both had nothing but attitude, they gave me the order wrong and I politely asked them to remake it and showed them the receipt and after that I asked for a hit sauce and there was more attitude and at the end they took care of all the customers in the location and forgot my oatmeal bowl and I showed them the receipts again that I ordered it with all topping and when they gave it to me they didn’t give me the blueberry and although they saw the receipt they said oh blueberry is at extra charge and I did pay for it when I ordered and no apology from the both ladies but Jane was amazing.

I must say, I have always had loyalty to Starbucks, but I’ve never had loyalty to a specific store before recently. Earlier in February I had gotten the worst news of my life. I was in my last year of graduate school, with an unpaid internship, bills piling up, and I’d just gotten a text that my marriage was done. (Relevance incoming, I promise.) I went into the Starbucks closest to my house because I needed to do homework but didn’t want to be in my ex-wife’s way. I was crying in the Starbucks while typing the most important essay of my career — it was all very dramatic. Aby had taken my order at that time and had been extremely nice. She came by and checked on me several times, despite me dramatically crying.
The second time I went back, the staff immediately remembered my name and order. Was it due to the fact that I’d been a mess when I last came in? Possibly. But, over the months I continued to go back and every single time I go in there, I am greeted from the staff by name and everyone is SO nice. I love going in and hearing the latest about what is going on with everyone when business is slow and I love sitting in the corner doing homework when it’s bustling.
HUGE shoutout to Aby, Taylor, Shosh, and Alyssa. I seriously would not have survived the last six months without y’all. Aby and Taylor, especially. Y’all are the real MVPs. There is seriously not one rude person on staff at this location. And I don’t care if I have to take detours out of my way, this is the ONLY location I will go to now.

Hi everyone, I would love to recommend this store and recognize how amazing the employees and store manager are. The service was outstanding, but what stood out most was the genuine respect they show their customers—it’s truly exceptional. Thank you so much. Your employees and store manager not only made my day, but also gave me hope in life, because you never know what someone may be going through. Thank you again.

This is a late review from last week (the 27th). Normally I don’t leave reviews, but I was genuinely impressed. I came in with a friend and was helped by a barista named Stephanie. She was patient with my friend’s extremely complicated order and treated us with genuine respect. Even though things around us seemed a little overwhelming, I could tell she still made the choice to show up with patience and kindness. She took the time to make sure we were good, got the order right, and even gave me a wave as we left. That small moment stuck with me. Just wanted to say thanks—hang in there, your effort and professionalism don’t go unnoticed, even through all the rain around us. Y’all have a barista worth recognizing. :)

I've been living in this neighborhood almost 20 years, do business every place you can think of, including this starbucks but not anymore. My wife was 9 months pregnant and on foot waiting for the bus. it was 100+ degrees outside so she thought she'd go inside to use the toilet and ask for a glass of water like we've done so many times in the past. not only did they tell a 9 month pregnant woman no, they will not give her a glass of water, they basically kicked her out onto the street. in all my years I've never experienced this at any starbucks, not even recently (we tried out the same thing at other locations just to see what the response was, nothing but friendly service at 3 other starbucks locations!) don't go to this store. they're rude, inconsiderate, and dehumanizing. there's much better coffee and service at a small Vietnamese cafe right across the parking lot from Alamo Drafthouse and that's where I send anyone who asks.
update: we came back yesterday, a few months later, while out shopping in the area. we had our 2 month old baby in the stroller, shopping bags in hand. my wife wanted some coffee and we thought we'd give them another chance. we are service industry workers, maybe the woman that day was having a bad day or something. I had the idea to ask for a glass of water before we ordered anything. same employee, same response. just deplorable. if businesses want to be considered part of the community, then they should act like they are part of the community instead of treating locals like we're a nuisance.
