Starbucks

After visiting Wilford Hall, I stopped by for a Venti Vanilla Latte (4 squirts of vanilla instead of 5) with oat milk. YUMM! My active-duty daughter got me hooked on these & I love them!! A bit of heaven in a cup!!

This location of Starbucks, which is inside Lackland Air Force Base’s Wilford Hall, is really lovely!! It’s a convenient spot to grab a cup of coffee when you’re inside the Ambulatory Care Center. The staff are efficient & kind, and the place is very clean + well-kept!

Guys this Starbucks is inside of a Airforce base. You can’t go there if you don’t have military id

This review is specifically for Jaila or Jayla (however you spell it). If you need me to repeat my order, ask. Don’t just make up whatever you think I said on the spot. Feel free to clarify. If something is against policy, tell me. Don’t just keep saying “ok” over and over then try to correct me. It’s called communication. Also word of advice if you’re going to laugh at a customer it’s best to wait until they’re out of earshot

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. My husband and I ordered an iced green tea and a s’mores frap. Neither were made correctly. We were fine with the tea mistake but asked for the frap to be made again, as it was watery and flavorless. I watched the barista make the frap the second time and she made it completely incorrectly (I worked for Starbucks for three years, I know the recipe and the measurements). Again the drink was entirely wrong and flavorless.
We left without a s’mores frap because it was not drinkable and there was no point asking her to make it a third time when she clearly had no idea how to make the drink correctly.

To whomever is managing this place - TEACH YOUR BARISTAS THE CORRECT RECIPES AND MAKE SURE THEY FOLLOW THOSE RECIPES.

Originally their hours opened at 0600 but in the past week, they now open at 0700. Located in in the new WHASC building (Bldg 4554). They are closed on holidays, most Family days, and weekends. Busiest times are at 0830, between 11-1230, and around 1400. They have readers for phone apps, and the ladies there provide excellent wait and customer service and deliver it quickly. No mistakes yet and I've been going to Starbucks at work for almost four years. :)
