Staff was so wonderful, friendly, and kind and everything we ordered was delicious! Their cocktail menu is killer, and there are so many choices for food that all sound incredible — the appetizers and pasta we ordered were great, but it was hard to choose from all the amazing sounding options! Everyone in our party was very happy with their meals and drinks. Gorgeous restaurant in a beautiful, historic part of town right off the river. Will definitely return if we find ourselves in San Antonio again!
Very tasty

Phenomenal pizza and drinks! Great for lunch or dinner. Family, kid friendly.
Excellent pizza, fresh ingredients . Great atmosphere
Small pizza got the $14 Quattro carne so small smaller than a kids pizza no meat super floppy crust couldn’t even fold it without it flopping over. They didn’t give us any silverware or napkins even though we had a messy pizza. Flat sprite and Dr Pepper. Food took literally an hour. One person we were eating with got their food after everyone already finished their food. There was no backrest on the chairs. So my back hurt because we had to wait so damn long. This place needs to go out of business.
Stella is one of the best spots around town. We been there with friends for dinner but today the wife and I stopped by for lunch. Dinner is always great and they did not disappoint for lunch. We got the special with either pizza or calzone with a side salad. We started off with the Brussels sprouts. Really good stuff! that is our typical appetizer. Now going back to lunch special! I got the pig in the bush and by far one of the top pizza there. My wife got the hot Sicilian. Really good flavor and spice to it. Have a little bit of heat which was great. We will be ordering it again. Staff is always great. Always friendly and tending to you the whole time. One of our favorite go to spots for pizza. Plenty of parking in front of blue star. Definitely recommend to anyone.
We stumbled upon this place and glad we did. The atmosphere, the music and the service were all 5 stars. The food… was good, for majority of my group. The two that ordered pizza and one that ordered a benny were satisfied. The two who ordered the French toast sammy were a little underwhelmed. The fennel sausage didn’t work for us, but we would still go back and give other things a try. And thanks for the Momma-Mosas! So good 🥂
Food was delicious, service was great. Definitely recommend

We had a wonderful waitress for our Mother's Day. Friendly atmosphere with amazing food. I will be back again!
So sad first time.at first it seemed they never would open ..we couldn't wait seemed so much was put into it.. today first time we sat there a few customers on a Saturday going on12 mid one beer no interaction from barstaff/owners ...Goodluck to this bar..we were hoping this would have more ..so much potential..but first and last for us missing so much...
I just wanted to give a big shout out to Josh the and Dede for putting their whole babussies into last nights service! Staring off with Josh, he was super amazing and super welcoming when my friend and I stepped in, he even got excited when I mentioned it was my friend’s birthday and made sure we had the best outside seating.
And on top of the kindness he ensured us one of his best servers, Ms. Dede. Snaps for Dede y’all, 🫰🫰🫰Ms ma’am was so chill and quick with it. You want a Diet Coke? BOOM she got it. Birthday girl doesn’t drink but wanted something fun other than a fountain drink? BOOM Moctail.
Dede was very attentive through out our time there, she was making sure we were having a good time, made sure we loved our food and drinks OH! And She never check up on us in the middle of chewing! thanks girlie you’re a real one for that. (Snaps snaps snaps) The service was over all amazing 1000/10. If you guys want to feel welcomed Dede and Josh are the GOATS
Can’t wait to go back!
Since 2016, I've been a loyal customer of Stella Public House in San Antonio everytime I have visited the city. Over the years, it was consistently a great spot with a clean, inviting atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food.
However, my recent visit was a complete letdown. While the service remained good, the restaurant's cleanliness had deteriorated significantly. The countertops were dirty, and it seemed like some equipment was just collecting dust. Food was being prepared on small gas stoves on the countertops exactly behind the bar in close proximity to customers sitting and coughing at the bar, which was not the norm before. The pizza I ordered was terrible: the dough was too watery, the center was soggy, and the toppings fell off as soon as I lifted a slice. The quality and taste were both extremely disappointing.
Overall, what was once a top-notch dining spot has lost its charm and quality. I hope they can turn things around, but as of now, it’s not the place it used to be.
The food, environment, drinks and service was great. Our server Alejandra was excellent, we will be back
