My first time visiting this restaurant, and I have to tell you, the food, and the price of the food was much better than some of the other local bbq restaurants in town. You will not be disappointed, any barbecue joint that used to be a filling station has to be exceptional.

I've enjoyed great brisket, sausage, ribs and chicken here since 2007. There's a reason they've been in business for over 28yrs. Great quality bbq, friendly staff, good portions and sides all at a fair price.

Ordered Christmas meal for one. They ran out sides, delivered all the meats, rolls, and refunded me. Now to me that’s stand up. Food was enough for four meals. Tonight we had bbq sandwhiches. Tomorrow loaded baked potato. I’ll prolly make a breakfast hash with the ham. Thank you and we can’t wait for you to open.

We ordered our Christmas Eve meal for our family of 7 and it did not disappoint. Everything was wonderful, there was more than enough food for everybody with plenty left over for later and it was all at a very reasonable price.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Excellent sliced brisket and the nest smoked turkey I have ever had. Sides are good. Good Texas vibes inside. Reasonable prices. Nothing fancy inside this old gas station. Just ver good food. Why are they not in Texas Monthly top 10?

The chopped beef here is chunks of the brisket that nobody wants swimming in sauce. There is more sauce than meat which is why it’s sold in quarts. It’s the wise Texas BBQ I have had in probably ever. Because it’s the closest bbq place to me we tried it Once before and it was not good then either but we thought that everybody deserves a second chance.
