The assistant manager's attitude while handling a conversation with the customer placing a complaint made it me very uncomfortable. He was very argumentative and hung up on the lady twice. The conversation was loud enough for us to hear it and also he was letting her know that we were priority over her complaint. The assistant manager is very rude. The quality of the food is not great. Once coming to see the reviews on Google, I now see what she was complaining about. I also read other reviews and I can see that this is a repetitive pattern with this restaurant. I will not be going back because if I ever have a complaint I know this is the same treatment I will be facing. Me and another customer made eye contact during this incident and I could tell that other people were uncomfortable with the conversation and could tell that she was not being helped. Getting food from here seems to bother them. Like if their job is something that they don't want to be doing. Nobody is pleasant or nice or friendly. You do not get welcomed. You get rushed. You can tell that their priority was to get us out of the way so that they could handle mobile orders or deliveries which is completely unsatisfactory. It would have been nice to see her get good customer service and I really feel bad because the way he was speaking to her was uncalled for. I hope that the owner sees this and is able to find that lady and help her resolve her issue because the way the manager was speaking to her was uncalled for. He even stated on the phone with her that there is no one higher than him and hung up on her again.

The number on the receipt that says for questions and concerns nobody answers you or calls you back. The assistant manager named Matt is rude and does not want to help people and questions you. When something's wrong with your food of how it got in there I found a plastic in my sandwich and they have not helped. The only manager who try to help with Kelsey and she still could not get me a call back. Do not go here at night. It was at 9:55 that this occurred and there was a foreign object in my sandwich and the only concern they had is why I didn't go back when the restaurant was already closed and how it got in there asking me like if I work there. This is the worst subway ever please read the other reviews and you will see that other people have found hair in their food and have been treated rude and the assistance never want to give the owners information or the general managers info. I'm not the only one with the same type of treatment. There's been multiple bad complaints about this subway. Don't waste your money

Worst experience ever the assistant manager is rude! He is defensive and starts questioning you about the complaints. Please read the reviews others have the same experience. I heard the call with my wife and he was so rude to her she found a piece of tape with cardboard in her sandwich and started calling that night the restaurant was already closed called the number on the receipt and left voicemails no one ever called her back she spoke to a female manager and still no call back. She got ahold of the assistant manager and he was so rude and condescending starts questioning her about how that got in her food and why she didn't go back but she started the conversation that she went right before close. The owner told her he doesn't hire lazy people who don't like to work so she has been going since she was told things were changing and now she can not even get help with this she's asked several times for the general managers info and Matt refuses to let her speak to anyone but him! The phone call was recorded he was told that when a customer calls in the first thing he does is start attacking them over his employees causing safety issues the city is being called! Go check out the photos on Yelp of what she found in her food. She even told them that it still has food on the item because she pulled it out of her mouth while she was chewing and he had the nerve to question her instead of apologizing. The first thing he wanted to do was start arguing. The call is absolutely ridiculous. She is thinking about posting it on tik tok as well because it is not Right and good customer service to attack somebody for reporting a foreign object in their food! Look at the previous reviews and the people have found hair in their food and have had the same experience with the assistant managers all the employees seem to be rude and lack customer service. Even one of the review says that the assistant manager says the owner will not care about what is going on. We will continue to post until this is resolved!

This store was clean, not too busy, and the young lady was friendly and made my tuna sandwich just right. I don't like it when it is overflowing and turns into an awful mess but the proportions of my sandwich was perfect. On top of being clean, the interior feels bright and well-maintained. Maybe renovated recently?

We ordered 3 subs online. One was turkey, one teriyaki and one monster. We get home and the monster sandwich has teriyaki sauce and it doesn’t have the ranch we requested nor does it have any cheese and bacon. We called the store and the guy that made the sandwiches is defensive about it stating that he made it and it was right. So we offered to bring in the sandwiches to prove we’re right and he says yes. We show up and he’s still questioning about our order even though the receipt is shown to his face. Overall this ruined my vibe with the store and I will no longer order from here.

Found out the assistant manager the bald guy rude as hell told my spouse I can get a scoop of tuna I’m really sick so all I can eat is a scoop the sad part is crackers help me not throw up and the owner is ridiculously rude but the funny thing is his kids can go in their grab chips make a mess and drinks go behind and etc we are costumers and I would go their almost every day or week to get treated like this too top it off I would spend about 30-50$ now that I can’t eat right it’s a problem this man is a money seen and rude the owner needs to have a heart not make it about money we’ll he lost about 15 family members of mine and I’m great full my family is letting this story be told before judgment he should have ask why I don’t eat so much!!!instead of tell my husband so rudely that he can serve just a cup of tuna smh

Wasn't a very pleasant experience. Im assuming the gentleman is a manager, didn't catch his name.. but he isn't a very nice man. needs to work more on how to treat his staff. You could tell everyone in the line was uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. Hopefully this can be corrected and this can create a more pleasant work place as well as a more pleasant vibe for the guests.

Extremely rude and condescending manager. I feel bad for the poor kid who was working with the bald dude. Cut my pizza just fine and he scolded him in front of everyone. Next time please pull worker aside and teach in private or correct out of view of customers. When checking out he was rude and impatient. Do not recommend this subway. maybe on a day he isn't there. sandwich was okay. 6/10

I don't usually leave reviews but Just went to Subway, I wasnt able to get ahold of this girl's name but she has been the rudest employee ever!!! If you are going to get an attitude over customers not being able to hear what you are asking, SPEAK UP! She was rude and condescending, rolled her eyes when I misheard her. Threw my subways into the oven, I didn't appreciate that. As a paying customer I expect quality service, and It was the complete opposite, couldn't even enjoy my sandwich after that. Subway do better.

I asked for a turkey bacon guacamole wrap. The guy pulled out a white wrap. I told him I wanted a spinach wrap. He told me it was the same ...flavorless that only the tomato wrap tasted like tomato. Then they added ham turkey no bacon and the girls seemed confused ...finally I was told it was discontinued but they were making me a custom wrap. I canceled the order it was all wrong and they knew of the wrap but it was discontinued apparently they didn't know what went into a turkey bacon guacamole wrap I've ordered for years now. I will not be returning to this location on old Pearsall...I believe they are franchised and just don't care
