This has been the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant with customer service and length of time to get our food. The wait staff was extremely disrespectful while we waited and asked about 6 times for our food for over an hour. We tried to speak to the manager, Derrick, and he said it was our fault because of the size of the party. I do not care if we were a large party or not, when we sit down we are paying customers. He refused to make it right and put it back on us saying they were busy and there was nothing he could do but provide us a discount card for next time. They never apologized for their lack of professionalism or the time it took for us to get our food. When others around us kept getting their 2nd, 3rd and 4th orders before us, it’s not ok. We had small children and they had to wait until the staff could take a couple minutes to check and even still it took another 30 minutes. When we checked out and voiced our concerns, the waitress rolled her eyes and was very rude. The manager said he was the only one that handled clients until we had to prompt him to give us owner’s contact information. For thr price you pay, this should never happen. Completely unacceptable. In addition, their Google review response had complete disregard for our experience citing us moving from our seats which if cameras were reviewed we never moved from our seats once and Sat there for over an hour trying to be patient once seated. In addition, a discount card for future visits was completely unacceptable when our experience clearly stated that we would never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

I’m going to preface this review with I have lived on the west coast for a long period now so my review may be biased- I have had the blessing of going to amazing sushi restaurants in my time but I do want to give a fair and honest review.

Went in as a party of three during there lunch hour special and got seated immediately. I typically start with raw sushi and make my rounds from there. We ordered about every raw item form the nigiri selection so here’s what I would and wouldn’t order:

Would: Salmon here was my favorite of all their nigiri, super fatty and buttery. The pepper tuna and masago have a decent saltiness that help balance that out. The yellowtail was a decent pick as well.

Wouldn’t: Inari (Tofu Skin) was soggier than it should, impacting the texture and making it a slightly unpalatable. White tuna is just really plain. Their octopus doesn’t seem to get its proper justice (probably not massaged thoroughly) and as a result, is pretty chewy. Their crab sticks as should be obvious are imitation so it’s not really anything I’d spend my time eating, and their Shrimp was just okay.

Anything else in between like the red snapper, striped bass, etc. was okay but not noteworthy. They’re good filler if you want to try variety.

We did try two rolls, the Philadelphia and the other I believe was called the Orange Dragon (although I may be wrong on the second one). The Philadelphia was standard and good. Everything was fresh and an overall safe pick. Orange dragon was okay but the spicy tuna and sauce combo overpowered the actual “fresh” taste of fish.

We tried their beef Tataki (which felt a slight bit rubbery), yellowtail jalapeño, and peppercorn tuna. For the last two just pick one; they come with the same garnish of jalapeño slices and what looks to be onion. I only slightly preferred the yellowtail over the tuna but that might be preference.

As for the kitchen, I won’t go too in depth because they are realistically all sides in an AYCE sushi setting and they served their purpose; but, we got the seaweed salad, shrimp tempura, shrimp hibachi, calamari, fried gyoza, spicy kani salad, and mixed green salad.

Overall, it was an okay experience but I have easily had other AYCE experiences for a similar price with higher quality! I know it can be hard out here in Texas so with that stand it was outstanding service but hopefully this gives some starting points for this restaurant! ❤️

Parking: Free parking lot in front of store.

Kid-friendliness: There is kid friendly pricing notated for those under 11 and for those under 4.

This is the first place ive made reservations for and actually got seated at my reservation time! It is very clean and nice inside, food was good, drinks were even better! i had a Henny Candy and id go back just for that. Our server Rick was amazing! it was also my birthday, they changed the music in the restaurant to a birthday song for me as well. Will definitely be returning to finish trying the rest of the menu!

I was not allowed to eat because everyone was required to do all you can eat. Even coming before and not having to do so. He proceeded to tell me if I wanted to order a regular dish i have to sit by mself and won't be able to sit with family. Speaking to ghe manager she told me I can sit with my family and not eat

The place is amazing especially for an all you can eat place. You still down like a regular restaurant and you can order from different menus. Either the all you can eat or the regular one. I feel as a family the all you can eat is a very good option because the other one is very expensive. They also have adult drinks and they are made very well.
