My recent visit to Sushishima Japanese Restaurant was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, creating a perfect setting for both casual and special occasions. Absolutely LOVE the sushi lunch special!! What a great value! Tommy was a fantastic server today and had us laughing and enjoying ourselves fully! We’ve been coming for their lunch specials about once every month or so for YEARS because we consistently have great sushi, combo fried rice and delicious spicy edamame. We will definitely be back! Thanks for always making it a great experience for us!

Came here regularly on our date night. Sashimi were tastley fresh. We had salmon belly, yellowtail and Escolar white Tuna. We also had eel nigiris, scallop handrolls with spicy mayo. Mussels TNT always delicious.
Sushi was delicious, but took forever. Went with a group of 5 on a Saturday night. We were able to get seated immediately. All of our food was served at different times. The waiter warned us that sushi orders were backed up before ordering. I still opted to get sushi since that’s what I came for. It took about an hour and half before my sushi finally came. It was a long wait, but to be fair the waiter did warn us. He was also very apologetic about the long wait. The chirashi once at the table, was very fresh and delicious. I loved the pickled veggies as well. I would return, just probably not during peak hours.

Depends who you ask, but the Service here Sucks! When they do show up, they have an attitude n are rude without shame, they take forever to take ur order and they never come around to ask, if u need anything, they just let u sit there like an idiot, waiting. Been to Japan n there's nothing Japanese about it, only the Food. The Servers are 3rd World people from Indonesia, who don't care if u eat there or not! I've Spent a lot of money here, for them to treat people this way. Won't be coming back here Ever! At a time when money is tight n the Economy is at an all time high, they shouldn't take people for granted. Better places to eat without all the hassle. Don't appreciate their Racist attitude, have traveled all over the World and have received better Service. I grew up with multiple Cultures n have never had problems with people. Racism has invaded SA, don't come here if your Hispanic and alone, they treat you differently. Never again, if they don't like you, they make you very uncomfortable. I get it, go to a different Japanese Restaurant, where at least people are Friendly n Cordial. I'm just saying, don't come here if you want to have a Good Dining experience.
