This place has had some rocky points over the last couple of years in terms of food consistency. Quality, and how it's made has varied. I would give it two stars but recently I noticed they're trying a bit harder and seem to be upping their standards. If it continues I would be glad to bump it up another star or two.

Its Taco Cabana at the end of the day. Good for a late night binge or breakfast taco, but don't expect anything crazy.

Ordered 2 chicken fajita bowls & a large soda to go paid 20.21. I couldn't believe the TINY AMOUNT of ingredients in each bowl, the flour tortilla shell looked enormous. I don't mind spending 7.99 for these cabana bowls but this is pathetic!!! I took a screenshot of 0ne of the bowls but didn't know how to add to the review...

There's a reason why they're always empty, this is the worst location in the city. I went in to no surprise be the only person, yet all the salsas were empty and jalapeños were empty. I ordered a margarita and a bean and cheese nacho with extra cheese and a water. Ice machine was empty in an empty restaurant. Margarita was good, the nacho that I paid for extra cheese had hardly any cheese and the beans were too dry and needed to be stirred with a little hot water. Never coming back again this location is the worst, when you drive by take a look and see if anyone's inside. I'm the only one here on a Friday night while the theatre parking next to this location is completely full, don't let them show you the reason why. And it's not a company wide issue, I had tc a few weeks ago off potranco and it was great

Edit* after I typed this when I went to throw my trash away and stack the tray the trash was overflowing. As employees were prepping for a catering order on practically every table, but really looked like sitting with a toddler and an iPad. Never again tc at bandera, grew up coming here in 2006-2012 but never again

We've gone in here twice and waited to order. No one acknowledges us. We waited over seven minutes. The restaurant was empty so I don't understand. So sad I used to love this place. Now wonder the parking lot is empty!

Food is as good as another Taco Cabana, but the drive thru is horrible. We went thru when literally no customers were inside and only one car was in front of us that had been at the pay/food window when we got there.
15 minutes after ordering, the one car in front of us left and we made it to the pay window. I could see thru the window that NO ONE was preparing food in the kitchen. They asked us to pull to the front to wait. My wife got out to use the restroom inside and came back
saying they had 4 employees but only one had just started working on food in the kitchen. The rest were not serving customers. 40 minutes after ordering we finally got our food with no apologies. This has been our experience the last 3 times in that drive thru. We will never return!

How do I submit a formal complaint? I was there about 15 minutes ago and ordered a large quesadilla. This is the amount of meat I have received, is it supposed to be like this? It's like a sprinkle, this is ridiculous.

Horrible service no greeting when entering the restaurant or ordering just horrible demeanor to say it was the on shift manager at 3pm Tuesday smh definitely changed my mind about eating here,no wonder the parking lot is empty 😔

taco cabana is one of those places I usually have to be in the mood for, the food has gone down and the prices as gone up but every time I do go I’m always greeted happily and and made sure my order is always correct by Serena and Jamyra. Both of them make it hard not to go back more often.”

This place had good service. But they gave us crispy dried beans in our bean and chz and the brisket taco was super chewy and very small portion that didn’t even fill the taco so I wouldn’t recommend that. I put 3 stars because I liked the people that took my order. Just go to bill millers if you want tacos that are fuller and better quality for a cheaper price.

Today 08/9/2024 10am shift this location had 3 cars I drive thru and no one inside. I was greeted upon entry and waited 10-20minutes to get my order taken down figuring it would go quicker than drive thru. Placed my order which was 3 bean and cheese and 1 potatoe and egg taco. Took another 20 to get simple tacos out. I would not suggest this location as it is really slow. The workers also are wearing AirPods while they work. The manager(middle aged Hispanic man in a collared shirt) was just giving directions to the workers and not jumping on the line to help out. Need new leadership or coaching. When I finally received my order the young girl who made the order just slammed my bag of tacos and said here you go very faintly and left my bag there on the counter. I was watching my order being made while watching my son, if I wasn’t looking out for it I wouldn’t have heard her. Another one wearing AirPods while they are making food, she also took my order while wearing them. If upper mgmt can do a complete over haul or coaching that would definitely be suggested. I will definitely make a call to corporate to let them know of this as well.

Ordered 3 beef tacos... on corn this time because the flour soft shells were soggy. They were so cold and not fresh at all ( they doubled them and they were cracking. I had spoken to a "manager" with my concerns. She asked me to come back but I saved it for today. The tacos I received today were ridiculous,at this point I didn't trust the process. I asked to see a manager and showed her the food I received, I asked were they supposed to be like this? She said no, I'm just going to give you your money back. Stuck her hand out and gave me some money. No apologies and I asked her did she want the food...she never answered. Eating out is an option and regardless if it has Happy Hour prices the experience, food and service should be good. Never again.

I ordered delivery from their app and didn't receive my order (even checked with my neighbors to see if it had been dropped off at the wrong house). I called the restaurant 3x and was sent directly to voicemail, left messages but, never got a call back. This order cost me $30 I couldn't afford to just donate to TC. I doubt I'll use them again as this is the 3rd bad experience I've had with them recently.
