Carne guisada tacos 2-3 small pieces for meat and a scape of cheese. Do better for the cost.

Missing items on delivery and no way to get things corrected. When I did a pic up order recently they had no Tex mex sauce for their enchiladas and couldn’t do a refund. I am saddened about this. I can’t even get a refund for the missing items.

Ordered personal nachos and it seems like prices are going up, but portions going down. Looks like 10 chips. Used to get more for personal size. Gotten the kickin' nachos and that's a huge difference. More than double this size but only double the price so something doesn't see right.

The Somalian nightmare and his girlfriend frequent the 281 & Bitters area businesses looking for 5 finger discounts. They either live in the local apartments or they’re homeless. Beware if they approach you.

I never thought it would end like this. We had plans, Taco Cabana. You told me my tacos would arrive by 10:00am. I believed you. I trusted you. I rearranged my morning around you.
At 9:50, I saw the first sign of trouble. The ETA froze at “14 minutes.” Like a heart monitor flat-lining but refusing to beep. For the next 40 minutes, time stood still. Not moving forward. Not moving back. Just… 14 minutes. Forever.
By 10:30, when I was already emotionally preparing the eulogy, the ETA suddenly changed to 11:40. Not an apology. Not an explanation. Just a casual announcement that my tacos - and perhaps my innocence - were gone.
I grew up in San Antonio eating Taco Cabana, and I visit San Antonio every year for Christmas. For as long as I can remember, Taco Cabana was part of the tradition. About $200 a year in tacos for my family. Breakfast tacos. Late-night tacos. “We don’t need tacos but let’s get tacos” tacos. You were once amazing. Legendary, even. A pillar of this city.
But over the last few years… you’ve changed. The magic faded. The spark dimmed. And today, it finally died - stuck at “14 minutes” like a cruel metaphor for a relationship that should’ve ended sooner.
This will be my last year. Not out of anger. Out of sadness. The kind where you quietly stop calling because it hurts less than hoping.
I’ll remember you as you were, not as you are now.
Rest in peace, old friend. 🌮💔

Decent tex mex fast food. Easy to park and find seats to sit on. There are plenty of options for snacking

I was stuck in traffic today and started having a asthma attack which led to a pretty bad panic attack and had to detour over to this restaurant I stopped in to get something to drink and the blonde guy with the blonde beard at the counter was incredibly rude and inconsiderate and careless I was visibly in a state of distress and just trying to get something to drink which I told him I would take there and then in his carelessness he asked me if I was getting it to go after I had already stated that I was going to get it there just out of spite and to be disrespectful he said next time I would need to order something how absolutely careless and belligently disrespectful I will never ever stop here again. It's literally rather die in my car .

It was very strange. A supervisor was yelling at a worker and the tone was tense. I ended up getting breakfast tacos that were wrapped haphazardly and when I opened the taco, it was only partially filled. What the heck?

I want my money back. Nothing looked good. Flattened enchilada. Old guacamole, stale tortillas, etc. etc.

Cant speak for the service or atmosphere as I ordered some tacos on the Uber app. They completely forgot some of my order and what they did do right was so greasy and disgusting, I threw away my tacos. 20-30 years ago Taco Cabana was a decent late night stop for a bite to eat. Not anymore. Part of my order was some potatoe and chorizo tacos. There was so much chorizo and grease, that the grease would shoot out of the end of the taco and into my mouth at the same time. Chorizo is a very flavorful and greasey meat. You do not need a whole lot for a taco. There was more chorizo than potatoes. I still have indigestion from the one bite I took.

We had 2 orders being delivered by a service. We ordered the taco asada plate which was suppose to have 2 tacos, rice, beans and guacamole. And the taco bowl. The tacos were dry, I've had asada before and it's in a gravy of sorts, the guacamole was not there and they sent none of the salsa ordered. Since we ordered through a delivery service I didn't contact the Taco Cabana we ordered from.

My food was handed to me in multiple layers of ripped open bags because they handed me the wrong order And me and the other person drove away with it, and they didn't bother to remake it but on top of that, the stuff wasn't even in the right bags.So they had to rip them apart and shuffle up the order. And then gave it back definitely a health violation, and disgusting
