If I could give a zero I would!!!! The tacos were bland( no seasoning at all) I ordered 2 carne guisada tacos they came out cold hardly any meat and tasteless. The salsa was basically water. No flavor whatsoever. I was not going to leave a tip for basically the worst tacos I have ever had in San Antonio! When I went to pay with cash she had no change so basically made me leave a tip which was not deserved. Whomever owns this restaurant has really ran it into the ground. I am a life long S.A. resident. I have been eating here since the 90s. Never ever will I go here again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went here based off the TV shows. The food was bland, no flavor. Wish it wasn’t but it wasn’t good. Atmosphere not good. Not clean but not disgusting. Lady was nice and I hate to right the review but I’m never going back.

We used to live this place, all is very different. Wish I had alot more positive things to say about this place. Might be time to hang it up taco taco. Everyting was below sub par. Place was empty and super slow

Worst tacos in America. Taco bell over this any day.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Husband picked up some breakfast tacos for us (first time customers) brought to me back at work. We’re both in the medical field so already have limited time to eat as is, so you could imagine we’d be a little upset that we received tacos that literally had little to zero filling at all. No time to go back and ask for a remake so figure I’d call for a refund. Lady who answered, who claimed to be owner, said she made the tacos and that she put “6 pieces of meat In each taco”. I hadn’t even told her our name, ticket number or credit card info to look up check so already I was like “hmmm”. I said I was not happy with my experience and she literally started cussing me out (first ever from a restaurant owner, especially in San Antonio with such a close knit service industry), told me to write what ever reviews I wanted and wasn’t welcome back? Ok? Completely insane and beyond unprofessional. I hope you enjoyed your “35 years of business” and “doing whatever you want” because it won’t last forever if you continue to treat guest this way. So yay to our first Taco Taco experience! Will be relaying the terrible experience to everyone in the field downtown, do not give this lady your business!

The other tacos that are listed and not pictured went straight into trash.

Wow, I’m saddened to say that Taco Taco has taken a huge hit on quality and flavor.
I visited today for the first time in maybe 10 years or so since eating there last. I was with my brother in law who came in from the valley and we decided to have breakfast. I was really excited to take him to enjoy the food I anticipated being served.
We were both totally disappointed. The portions were small in the tacos. They rolled into the size of flautas which is a far cry from the healthy portions that filled the tortillas in the past and they were honestly flavorless without salt.
Guy Fiera must have taken payola to say they were the best tacos in America. Maybe he reviewed the place when they were frickin’ awesome. They really need to lose that huge sign out front with his face on it, people trying Taco Taco for the first time are going to think he’s an idiot.
Sorry for the miserable review but something has to change. I hope the owner reads this

Despite the bad reviews, I wanted to give this place a try, but as we walked in, we knew right off back that we would not eat there. It did not look appealing at all. I think it’s time that lovely lady shut this place down.

I had the pleasure of being a guest of the very hard working owner operator of this business of 25 years, food was great and she treated me like family, I left a generous tip because I felt the prices were just to cheap for a business to survive these days with those prices, please be kind to this lady she is a treasure

Great tacos - I could eat the tortillas in stacks like pancakes. Owner is a real sweetheart, too. It was a great add to the list of Triple D places that we're on a mission to visit.

Wasn't sure if this place was open, no cars in the parking lot. One customer in the whole room. I ordered a carne guisada taco, cold and disappointing at best. Will not visit this place again. Should have read the reviews.
