This place started out great but have gone down since then. They barely put any meat in the tortas and also changed the bread used for the tortas also quite a bit expensive for the portions served in your order. The food tastes great but their portions are sub par at best. I stopped going all together.

The queso is no bueno. Honestly, tastes like it’s from a can. The fajitas were good. Tortillas were better than average. Service was very nice.

Only one waitress for it being busy and she doesn't prioritize. Waited too long for our drink order and chips (20 mins.). Then another 10 to get the drinks then 5 more for chips. Order gets here and it's nothing like the picture. It's supposed to be coated with sauces cause it's a wet burrito........drink refill waiting too. Nothing towards the waitress, another one is needed for these discrepancies to not happen.

Poor Service, i only go here to pick up Uber deliveries, if i get bad service just picking up, i can't imagine how customers are treated, i guess if you wanna wait a very long time for your food even when it's not busy,
Do not recommend very rude, food was cold and took very long to serve food.
We’ve been loyal patrons of this restaurant for years, but sadly, our most recent visit left a lot to be desired. We arrived for lunch just after 11 AM, only to find the restaurant dark, and had to ask the waitress to turn the lights on. This waitress, seemed to lack the customer service skills and efficiency we had come to expect here.
The food was OK, but it used to be excellent. For example, the Flautas used to be made with high quality white meat chicken but today, both my mother-in-law and I had some veins and little pieces of chopped up connective tissu (not exactly sure what it’s called). The rice was a bit on the dry side, it used to be moist and fluffy. My father-in-law’s refried beans were so soupy they could have been eaten with a spoon.
My husband and I have always enjoyed this place, but I was shocked when I received a notification on my iPhone that husband had just paid $74. For a lunch with four people, this felt excessive, more like dinner pricing. When I reviewed the receipt, I saw that we had been charged for dinner portions, even though we arrived just after 11 AM, and got our food around 12 PM, with the menu clearly stating lunch is 11 AM to 4 PM M-F. My father-in-law ordered a breakfast plate and requested tortillas, which is a pretty standard accompaniment at a Mexican restaurant, however, we were charged $1.50 for two and it was not disclosed to us ahead of time. Also, don’t expect chips and salsa while you wait because they don’t serve that anymore. Pretty strange for a Mexican restaurant if you ask me!
When I approached the staff about the incorrect pricing, I was told that because we didn’t specify that we wanted lunch portions, we were given and charged for dinner instead. They said that had we indicated we wanted lunch portions, we would have been served 1 flauta versus 2. This was baffling to me, as no other restaurant I’ve been to requires you to specify the portion size during lunch hours – it should be obvious, based on the time. At minimum, the waitress should have asked us which we wanted. To make matters worse, they don’t even have separate lunch and dinner menus, which only adds to the confusion. Another thing to consider is if you use a card to pay, the processing fee is passed on to you.
We were given nothing more than a simple "sorry" and no effort was made to resolve the situation. As longtime customers, my husband and I have supported this restaurant from their grand opening, through the pandemic, and beyond, but this was truly a disappointing experience. We’ve never had this level of service, nor have I ever been charged dinner prices during lunch hours in the past.
It saddens me to say this, but the restaurant, unfortunately, is not what it used to be. Despite its convenient location close to our home, we’ve decided we won’t be returning. There are plenty of other options out there, and it’s just not worth it to us anymore, nor does it seem like they are trying to be competitive with the plethora of Mexican restaurants surrounding them.
I am by no means discouraging anyone from going. The owner is a great person and amazing cook, but just isn’t there as much anymore like at the beginning. However, if you do decide to go, be sure to clarify the portion sizes when ordering during lunch hours, expect a wait, don’t expect excellent customer service, and DO expect to be charged for standard items (like tortillas) and credit card processing fees or you might find an unpleasant surprise at the register, as we did.

This place was so cute, went during lunch and the service was fast. I got the birria tacos with rice, the birria was amazing the rice was a little hard. So maybe just stick with the tacos. My husband got the sirloin plate and he loved it. The waitress was super nice and the decor was adorable.
