Stopped in with a co-worker, this was my 3rd time in and this place never disappoints. I had the chicken with broccoli and it was very fresh and tasty. Great lunch prices at an average of $10-$12 includes tea. Soup is separate for a nominal price. Having a server robot Bella bring out the food was a treat. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! I am a Realtor and will bring all my realtor friends.

Delicious Chinese food! We used to go to Formosa Garden on the NE side since I was a kid (1995 or so), and it was my favorite Chinese restaurant by far, but have since moved around town (most recently to the Stone Oak area) and it's been too far from us to go as often as we'd like. WELL, Taipei is another Mencius Group reataurant that IS close to our new place, and it's every bit as delicious as Formosa Garden! I feel like I have my favorite childhood restaurant close by again! Only way they could improve is if they bring those standing water bubble displays Formosa had years ago lol. But I'll just have to settle for the best lemon chicken and chicken in blackbean sauce I've ever had. Guess I'll live....P.S. PLEASE bring back the Emperor's Red Snapper!!!

This is what this food IS SUPPOSED TO TASTE LIKE! DEEEEEEELICIOUS! Lemon Chicken had the perfect meat to beading ratio, perfect thickness, and lemon sauce was so fresh REAL lemon tasting. Triple delight was DELIGHTFUL! The brown sauce is perfectly flavored and the veggies are cooked to perfection. The fried rice is the best fried rice I've had in a LONG TIME. it's fresh but flavorful. Sometimes (at other restaurants) it tastes like it's all the leftover crumbles & ingredients, and I'm all for that concept, but sometimes freshness is lost, NOT HERE! the rice is perfect! Egg rolls were perfect. I know I keep saying perfect but when I say I have a basic expectation of what these dishes should taste like, this place HIT THE BULLSEYE. the only thingvi wasn't wild about were the crab wontons....specifically because I like a creamier texture and this was like shredded crab meat with just a little cream.. idk, not what I was expecting. But this place will be our go-to spot when we have a craving for regular, familiar, cant-go-wrong, comfort Chinese food.

We visited Taipei on a Monday night around 8. They were very slow which we love. We were served quickly and ordered the crab wontons and lettuce wraps as an appetizer. For the entree we had lemon chicken, and the general tao chicken / sweet and sour shrimp combo. The food was SO delicious. Very fresh, and plentiful. We had 2 big to-go boxes to take home. The service was super quick and very friendly, and we were of course charmed by their delivery robot. It comes up to your table but the server follows behind to give you your plates. The atmosphere was really nice (especially it being so quiet). It's well decorated and clean. Perfect spot for us; we'll definitely be back!

Decent customer service, and decent fried rice. Not at all what I expected for 15. Especially not with cold Rangoon but piping hot eggrolls. C'mon, for real?!?

Came in at lunchtime and it did not disappoint. Menu had a long variety to choose from and each dish came with a good portion at a reasonable price . Ordered the wonton soup with baby shrimp, the sesame chicken, and the orange chicken dish. Our order came in fast! The dine-in is pretty big, unfortunately I was unable to take a full picture due to everyone's privacy. I did however take a picture of their menu which I noticed later I had gotten a terrible lighting. Overall great place! Will be going back for some more !
Arrived at 803pm and were told that they closed dining room at 8pm and could not set our family of 4. I said we'll the website said open till 9pm, and Google page said open till 9pm. But staff said the last hour if for pick up orders only. Wish the website and Google had accurate information so we didn't load up in the vehicle in 35 degree weather to be turned away.

Our first time here and it was delicious. They have different daily specials from 3-6. I had the chicken fried rice, which was very good. My wife had the pepper steak apecial, which was also very good. We'll definitely be back.
