I love this place! Used to be a goth club back in the day (puro SA) haha...but they've been consistent for years. The menu is probably way too big and the portions are huge, but hey, that's Texas. I ordered carne guisada tacos with guacamole. The guacamole was not pleasant and the taco even less. The guisada sauce reminded me of red sauce from a canned ravioli meal. The taste was not what I was expecting from a traditional tex-mex carne guisada taco. So I ordered a carne asada taco with fresh aguacate, so much better. The meat had tones of crispness as well as tenderness. Well flavored with limonsito on the side and fresh burnt sauce. The coffee was refreshing and the atmosphere...
We are from out of town and this is a must go to any time visit San Antonio. Family friendly, we meet Family for breakfast b4 we leave and they have served us- up 15 people no problem- still good food and service!
