Simple, delicious food. I had the chilaquiles which was good tho could use a little seasoning overall. Husband had the pork chop (chuleta de puerco) which was cooked perfectly - simply seasoned but very good indeed with eggs and potatoes. The winner was the barbacoa street tacos though - again, no frills but well prepared. The charro beans everyone raved about was the only let down - we’ve had so much better and the prevalent sausage (instead of bacon) flavor is just not something...
Highly recommend this place! Absolutely the best Carne Asada Nachos ever! They use real cheese too! I hate nachos with watery queso that water down the chips. The portion was so big I will be eating on these for a couple of days. And as you can see, I already dug into them before I took a picture. My daughter had the mini tacos and they looked absolutely amazing and she loved them.
They have recently remodeled. The place looks fresh and new. The staff is friendly, courteous, and respectable. The carne guisada tacos and menudo is really good. Food prices seemed to have increased.
