Taqueria La Terraza at Alamo Ranch

My husband and I go here often. # 1... food is really good and the prices are not bad. # 2... it is always clean. # 3... we love the waitress Maria. She has such a pleasant smile and she is very attentive. We mostly have breakfast on Sundays but the lunch is delicious also. Highly recommend this place.

The one thing that stood out was the bean and cheese tacos. They stood out like they were home made. I had the menudo that wasn’t the best or the worst. Lacked more chili in it. Service was great and ladies there are super sweet. I did order from there before to go and had Barbacoa by the lb. That was good too. Haven’t tried their lunch or dinner yet. Breakfast seems like a hit for that area. Will return to try more out.

We dined in an hour before closing. Staff was nice and attentive despite being near closing time. We ordered bean and cheese tacos, barbacoa and carne guisada tacos. The tortillas were ok but the food was so bland. Salsa tasted like kerchup mixed with cilantro and onion. Barbacoa had absolutely no flavor. Meat was tender but no flavor. The bean and cheese tacos were so bland my husband had to add salt to eat them. My daughter ordered tea and it tasted like red diamond tea. Tea is cheap to make not something they should cut corners on. Sorry but won't be going back.

Food was ok service was good. Ordered two huevo rancheros plates , one with bacon one without and Two coffees.
Paid $ 28 . Charged us for bacon on both. Too pricey for what we got.

Our table had the chicken chimichanga, Mexican plater, and the rellenos. Salsa for the with chips is a bit weak..but ask for the red and green salsas. That's where it's at. All 3 dinners were well prepared and the flour tortillas were piping hot.Not a fancy place, very down to earth. But pleasant.Very solid meals and we will be back.

Extremely horrible buisness owner. Not the employees the owner.She tells her employees that unless u buy something u are not allowed to put a soda can that is trash in thier restaurants trash can.And as u can see outside not one single trashcan in site.So I had to leave outside on the curb in front of thier buisness all because they refused to let simply throw away one tiny item of trash dumb dumb dumb if they treat me this way imagine how they treat employees and customers I feel sorry for them.

We've had lunch and breakfast. The salsa with chips are so delicious. So far everything we have ordered is amazing. Wait staff is wonderful, especially Maria. ?

Bad food and terrible service

First time coming. I brought my dad because he’s really picky about his taquerias and has his regular “go to” places. He loved this place! He always said a good taqueria has good tortillas, beans, coffee and tea. This place hit all marks for him! We will definitely be back. Good clean atmosphere, friendly service and breakfast was great!
