I've been to Lupita's in the past and loved the food. Left a 5 star ladt time. I stopped in for breakfast tacos (potato and chorizo, bean and chorizo, taco Mexicana (potato with tomatoes, etc). I was super disappointed that all that was in the tacos were potatoes with a tiny sprinkle of chorizo and tomatoes respectively. Ultimately. I just had a few barely fried potatoes in tortillas, and beans in a tortilla. Pretty disappointed as I was looking forward to the same...
I went to this Mexican restaurant with several coworkers to celebrate the retirement of a colleague. The service was fantastic. Food was very good and extremely affordable. It's a small Mexican restaurant with many selections. I will refer this to friends. It's by no means fine dining but as I said, it's good and affordable.
Your standard Mexican fare don't well at a great price. You can't miss worth any of the weekday specials - named with a first name (e.g., "Wednesday of Mimi" and giant picture on the wall - or the green enchiladas are a safe bet. Good chips and decent tea as well.
