The food is good , but be careful with the prices for example I asked for the chilaquiles rojos , which are $8.99 . They come with refried beans 2 tortillas and only 1 egg. They don’t tell you that the meat is extra 7.99. So basically they are charging you $18.99 for a breakfast plate that doesn’t even come with a drink , which I had to pay $2.00 extra. Total for a breakfast plate $21.00 plus tax. I think that’s a little too much for a simple breakfast plate. Again , I’m not complaining about the service or food, but I think they should tell you upfront what the plate is going to cost you. If it was a steak dinner plate with drink included, it’s passable, but please don’t ripp people off like this.😡

I picked up a caldo de res to go yesterday, and when I got home, I noticed it had a strange smell—and the taste was off too. I’m 8 weeks pregnant and had been craving caldo, so it was really disappointing to come home with something that tasted rancid 💔

The whole restaurant is dirty never dusted and tables not cleaned. Considering how small it is you would not think this would be an issue. But the staff has an even harder time servicing their customers. They have 5-6 waitresses just standing around making ppl wait just to have their drink orders taken. Again the restaurant only has about 7 booths and another 7-8 tables. Not even a normal size restaurant but yet the staff doesn’t clean or take orders. When you do get the food it’s ok, but definitely not worth the wait. If you have an issue with your order you will still be charged for the item unless you pay attention when paying and remind them. Not worth stopping to eat at, do not waste your time.
If you are big on carne guisada. This is the place to try. It’s delicious with a side of round cut up potatoes, like mom use to make as a kid for us. And the waitresses are the most friendliest people around always happy go lucky people and constantly checking to see if you need anything else. Keep up the great work guys. And also to the kitchen guys. Great job everyone.

We complained to the waitress and even though she offered to bring something else, our appetite was gone. The waitress still charged us for the menudo we didn’t eat. The carne guisada was also not good but I figured why complain, I still have to pay anyway. I’m a food service worker myself and when a customer complains about the food, we either offer something in exchange or take it off the ticket. And not give an answer like “ oh well no one has said anything about the menudo” now that’s great customer service!!! Oh and to top it off there was a bug in my husband’s drink and we still paid for it.

Service needs to repeat visit tables. Prices are to high for portion size. Carne guisada tacos way to small for price. Gotta pay for chips and salsa. 3 dollar tea!
