Tarka Indian Kitchen

Wow. This restaurant has the best Indian food in San Antonio. This was our first time eating here, but the gentleman that assisted us answered all of our questions and offered recommendations. He went up and above.

Dining room was clean, and there were plenty of tables available. Bathrooms were spotless and smelled good.

We ordered the chicken pakoras, lamb kabob, tiki Marsala, and cheese naan & garlic naan; a whole feast to say the least. Everything was beyond our expectations; perfect amount of seasonings, sauces, and portions. Even our one-year-old could not get enough.

We tried the strawberry rose lemonade and the mango lemonade. WOW. Very refreshing paired with the spiciness of the food.

If you’re in the mood to try something different and try some Indian food, I recommend this place. 10/10!!

Fast service, friendly staff, delicious food! So glad we found out about Tarka! Each time we’ve been, the food has been served hot and fresh. Portions are good sized. We love that they have vegan options as well as vegetarian ❤️ everything we’ve tried on the menu has been delicious. We highly recommend.

I had dropped off someone at the nearby country club and had time to go eat. I saw that Tarka was close and I was craving indian food. I was ordering at the self order kiosk but I had forgot to put money in the bank that day, and they only take card here. But one of the employees stepped in, understand the situation, and allowed me to order in cash for this time. I thanked them greatly, and ended up ordering more than I wanted to initially lol

I ordered the tikkia masala fries, garlic naan, and the tikkia masala curry (extra hot with chicken). The fries were seasoned very well and paired surprisingly perfectly with the tikkia. The garlic naan was warm and tasted amazing and the curry was piping hot and not too spicy for being extra hot (granted I eat spicy food on the regular, so be warned if you can't handle the spiciness) but it was amazing regardless. 5 stars for the food but especially 5 stars for the customer service!

This place is great! My boyfriend recommended this restaurant to me a while ago and we decided to give it a try together. Long story short…the food was amazing! I ordered the Tikka Masala with Lamb in Mild along with Naan. Staff is very nice and the ambience is super calm and it’s a very pretty establishment. Definitely come check this place out if you’re here in SATX!

Our new favorite spot! The dining area is large enough to always have plenty of space for my family, it’s never crowded when I’ve gone. The food is great, so flavorful and you can adjust the spice level to your liking. I wish they brought back the tikka masala pizza but that sadly was just temporary. Maybe if enough of us ask for it they’ll bring it back! There’s lots of good specialty sodas and best of all their strawberry lemonade is the best I’ve ever tasted! My kids are 5 yo and 1 yo and they looove the kids tikka masala and naan :D Anywhere that my kids will consistently eat all their food is an instant favorite. This is our go to spot when we need quick delicious food.

Nice and clean, quick friendly service, fair prices. You can order at the counter or the kiosk. Food came out hot, fresh, made to order. Flavors were well developed and comforting. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program so you get a free app!

I recommend the tikka masala fries, garlic naan, saag paneer, strawberry rose lemonade, and strawberry yogurt lassi!

Great place for lunch hour food. Always clean inside and outside dining is nice as well. Food always taste great . I always get the tikka masala hot
