Taurino's Mexican Restaurant

This is my SPOT, especially their first location down the street. However this last time I got a carne guisada from this location & it had a weird taste, I can’t explain it (almost sweet?) I didn’t finish my taco cause it was grossing me out. The following week I went to the Ingram/callahan location & the carne guisada was perfect. So I think I’ll stick to the original location.

Have been there many times,,Margie has been the best waitress.

There is a lot of steak for the price. There's not much to brag about, other than that. I like the grilled jalapeño. The chips & salsa are decent.
Not much English is spoken here.
For years, they are known for lackluster service.
Had to add salt & pepper to try to season the steak. It came out juicy, but dried out as it continued to cook on the hot iron skillet at the table.

First time here ordered 1 chorizo n egg, 1 barbacoa, 1 bacon n egg and 1 ham n egg I asked for mixed on all egg tacos. I got dry hard barbacoa and all tacos with egg were cooked like omelettes with added chorizo/ dry hard bacon bits, uncooked ham. Nothing mixed just added in and flipped. NEVER AGAIN!! Tacos were served fast but YEAH!

Started off as a Good Friday morning I’ve seen this place with a lot of cars so I said all right it’s taco time! Holy crap 12.32 for 2 potatoe and egg and 1 bean and egg with a large Diet Coke this is ridiculous they. They charge you to use your card in this made from scratch restaurant. Food ok but take out a loan just to eat here I will let everyone I know just go to McDonalds or whataburger

It was interesting pulling up here. I grew up eating afforable burgers from the place that used up be here long ago. No more burgers, haha, but these chicken fajita nachos were good. Seem like a good place, so I had to try it. Every time I pass by, it's packed.

4/17/25 dropped by again for nachos, and they were just as good as last time!

Homemade tortillas make for a complete comfort food location. The staff is prompt and friendly. Prices are very affordable. Food is served hot and fast but not fast food. I was in a rush this morning and they open at 5:30. Just like they say this was great and convenient for my needs. As soon as 5:30 hit they were taking my order

Order huevos rancheros plate eggs drenched is tasteless sauce potatoes some cooked some not beans had no salt. Service was horrible had to ask multiple times for condiments and chips and salsa. Won't go here again and I live nearby
