The food was not great. The tortillas were super freaking thick for some ungodly reason. The prices are ridiculous for the quality of the food and atmosphere. No reason one taco should be $6+.

I've been SUPER LOYAL 😁😁 PICK UP CUSTOMERS SINCE 1995...... something about their famous carne guisada with 🧀🧀 cheese.... Recent visit ordered Carne G with cheese and a bean 🫘 with cheese 😋.... 6.99 plus 1.29 for cheese 🧀... And 3.29 for a moderate bean and cheese... She said okay 👍 sir your totals $10.36 ..... She gave my change and said thank you! You should be ashamed thinking how you ran off 📴😞 those customers who once packed your establishment.... What I saw 😲 on my recent journey was 2 tables with customers and me and my 11.00 order of 🌮🌮 2 hugely overpriced and last time I ever feed your cash registers! Your insane 😂

I ordered a papa ranchera and bacon and egg taco and I got to say stay away cause they were horrible they might as well had just put the whole potato in the taco like it wasn’t even cut and the bacon looked liked they just fried up some bacon bits!

Parking: There is plenty of parking 10-14 parking spaces
We stopped here on the way back to Fort Worth. The food was great, we both had breakfast and they serve a pretty big portion. Our breakfast plates came with 1 tortillas each, I’m sure they would give you more if needed, but they were thick big and fulfilling. They also had big red which was a plus for me! The green sauce is extra spicy!!

Staff was excellent and cordial and attentive. The breakfast tacos are huge and the taste is among the best I have had in San Antonio. The carne guisada taco is in my opinion the best carne guisada in San Antonio, and is what I recommend others should try when dining at Tejas Cafe.
