I go to this place because they serve food much like the old "Taco Hut" from the SE side of SA. Great bean rolls, tostadas, enchiladas, and salsa.

This food made me happy. I grew up in SA and haven't lived here for almost 30 years. I still come back as often as I can for visits with friends and family. I was happy to see Teja Molino 2 opened near my folks home, so I ordered. The puffy taco was perfect especially once I put the spicy salsa verde on it. The cheese enchiladas were a childhood favorite so I went with old reliable. Both were delicious.

It's 2.49 for a bean and cheese and the beans aren't good. The egg was over cooked and crumbly as well.

OMG, I relived my childhood & adolescence when I dined here. This is San Antonio style food that is prepared the old school way. perfect chips, perfect puff tacos, perfect bean cups, perfect enchiladas. I will be returning here, no doubt.

So I got the Tuesday special of Chalupas, one chicken and one beef, with rice and beans. It was all unfortunately a disappointment. All of it tasted bland with no flavor of the real Tex Mex spices. The rice was terrible, hard with no texture or flavor. This was my first and last time to go eat here. I don't know when I was a kid growing up Tex Mex food was allot more authentic. It's suppose to be a better version of Mexican food with a Texas twist..
Enjoyed out visit here. We got the tortilla soup, guacamole cup, puffy taco plate (beef), and green enchiladas plate.

So since I can't make another review of this location I'll just have to addSo I'm a regular customer to both locations, I frequent this location. In about a year I would say I visit this location approximately 200 times give or take a few days. That should tell ya how delicious this establishment is , it is my go to place on the daily, lol just wish they were open on Sundays but that would be selfish of me to their outstanding employees that so much deserve a day off.So on the daily my meal consists of 2 picadillo tacos ? and a LG sweet tea . It's rare that I change it up unless I bring along company. As much as I would love to give a full five stars , my one and only issue is pricing consistency. Like I said I visit 200x a year and price can go from $5 bucks to $11.50 depending on the cashier or mood of employee I guess. ( for my 2 tacos and a drink )I really wouldn't care because food is bomb and I'll still continue to come everyday. Today as I addressed the issue, employee simply just said "it is what it is " and smiled.. WOW didn't expect that.. but like he said it is what it is right !So anyway if your looking for a Delicious restaurant this is THE SPOT .. THEIR GREEN ENCHILADAS are to die for and there picadillo tacos ? well i get them everyday should tell ya ?I'm a regular customer, and just ordered delivery for the first time, and WOW their food is just as delicious ?... It was hot and ordered was custom just like I ordered !! Thank you guys !! You forever customer ?
