Texas de Brazil - San Antonio

Went there for Thanksgiving with my family. Away from home we didnt have many options. We shared a table with another family (our sons were in boot camp together) and had a wonderful meal. Too many great things to pick as a favorite.

We had a great experience at Texas de Brazil.
We were celebrating our 23rd year anniversary and they made sure to make it special for us. My husband had a drink that had been made in Dallas but it wasn’t part of the menu and the manager went above and beyond to remake the drink for him. Just by the description she recreated exactly what he asked for. Mind you we had no idea it wasn’t part of the menu, we just asked but our server and the manager didn’t just say oh sorry we don’t have that. They asked questions and surprised us with the drink. They definitely are a great place to dine.

First off I came this Saturday for my anniversary and had a reservation at 7:15pm was not seated until 8:30pm
We were waiting and had to pay a lot for parking it was not fun at all!
Second of all there was soo many people there and front desk people were avoiding a lot of questions and kept saying 20 minutes
Third we get seated not offered drinks until maybe 10 mins after my husband needed water and waited when the water came it was super dirty it was bad experience for the money we spent
I will say the server was nice Javier and all the staff who brought the meats which is why I’m giving them three stars only because the staff they have in the back is nice
They need better staff up front

Worst experience we could have had. Had a reservation tonight for 715 and was told their would be a short wait. 805 we walked out because we couldnt stand the fact that we had a reservation almost an hour prior and nothing. No updates from the staff, nothing to help, if you make a reservation its worthless here. A couple days in town and wanted to grab food, and we wasted time here.

The location itself is beautiful. Salad bar was all cold not an exciting salad bar. The 2 competors down the street are better. Meats didn't see that much or they weren't going around, we had to tell them the meats were cold. Staff still needs a little extra training, they really tried. Still a new place plenty to build n grow. Cold food, taste and staff development.

We eat here with our family whenever we can find one. The lobster bisque is 100% spot on! The beef ribs are melt in your mouth!

My family has enjoyed Texas de Brazil regularly for over 15 years.
We dined on Thanksgiving and the food was superb as usual.
This time we had a new server. Her name was Lizeth. She was fantastic and I suggest requesting her whenever you dine. She was receptive, attentive and responsive without being overbearing. She was one of the best servers we’ve had and she was new. Lizeth has a great future and will only get better even though she already is great. I will request her whenever we dine at Texas de Brazil.

Food was great. Our waiter Chris was attentive and professional.

My daughter chose to eat here before a majestic show and I would be happy to do so again. The salad bar has both cold and warm offerings. The variety is more than other salad bars ive seen. My daughter loved the lamb but all the meats were delicious. Most important is the level of aervice. Our server Lizeth was very kind and helpful. The gentlemen serving the meat were very nice and were knowledgeable about the meat they served. The manager Victor? came by to thank us for dining there. very nice

The food was great and Chris was very helpful, fast and attentive.
