Food was surprisingly good, very satisfying. The wait-stsff all looked like they were 16 years old and almost impossible to stop to get a refill on our drinks. It was almost like after they dropped off our meal... their job was done. This review was for the Texas Roadhouse on 1604 and Culebra-ish on the North West side of San Antonio. I'm assuming the food at the other locations in town is just as good, but hopefully the customer service is better.

I love my 8oz steak, nothing wrong ever with food from roadhouse, been going any locations, always busy but get my scrumptious meal. Today was a busy weds night but I arrived way before closing, Dani was my server :), she greeted like any normal server would, but I guess her specialty is speaking really fast but she made my mom repeat multiple times and we couldn’t even hear her, she tossed our sides kinda rudely to my mom, and just gave moral attention to my sisters on the other side of the booth. We received our food and didn’t get a check on not ONCE. Even another server with more tables went back at least threee times to her tables :). No goodbye as well, no thank you as well :). Mom wasn’t rude, no one was. Her energy just wasn’t it so this was worth the complaint.

When ordering the server was saying "is *add-on topping* ok on that?" in a way that made it seem like the add ons were included for every item we ordered. My wife ordered the steak medallions which comes with a mushroom sauce, and was asked if she wanted mushrooms on the steak. My wife specifically said "it comes with a mushroom sauce right?" and the server talked around it without specifically saying what was an add-on and what was included. We definitely never asked for add on mushrooms, and we were charged for it.This trick was clearly intentional because we even heard other guests having to complain to get items off of their bill that they were tricked into thinking were part of the meal, and the manager was dismissing it by saying "we don't see it as tricking you, it is just part of our upsell"Upsell is "would you like to add XXX" not "is XXX okay on that?" I don't mind being offered upsell, but the way they were asking was clearly intended to trick people. It is only $3 or whatever, but I will not be returning to this location.

Great steak and sides, service was fast, friendly and attentive. We tried a different location than our usual and we were not disappointed. The wait to be seated can take awhile but that just means the experience will be worth it! The margaritas have just enough kick so you dont think to much about the waiting.

Haven’t been to a Texas Roadhouse in Texas for 12 years. First time since then and can tell you the restaurants in other states are 10x better. Order was wrong and missing items. Steak was under cooked, missing side item, and other side item cold. Finally received side item, steak was thrown back on the grill and overcooked. Families meals were good to go. Just a let down.

I want to shout out a manager Rebecca who really impressed us! Despite a rocky start with long wait times and a mishaps with our food, this manager turned things around big time! She not only fixed the problem, but also went out of their way to make sure we felt valued and happy. Her quick action, genuine concern, and great customer service skills made all the difference. Kudos to her for going above and beyond to make things right!

I'll do bullet points so it's not too long.-no reservations-sat our party of 9 adults @ a booth for 8-was not informed "smothered" was an upcharge-got my sides 20 mins BEFORE my steak/shrimp-the most tasteless (med/rare) steak I have ever had-didnt have a problem with the waitress on her phone, until we asked for a to-go box and we're given the typical child-like I'm doing something facial expression.-I personally have never had a great experience at any roadhouse ESPECIALLY when they use to have peanut shells all on the floors, I guess they finally figured out thats unsanitary.-food not good- service sub par- atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, no flies, bad smells, extreme dust or nasty bathrooms, they were decently clean.

It was one of the worst experiences I have ever come across. The staff and management for making excuses as to why the food was coming out one plate at a Time with at least 10 to 15 minutes late between plates. This was a table for five and the only person who was able to eat was my granddaughter who ordered a child's plate. This was our third visit.
