The right flavors were there, however, food was oversalted and had way too much sugar in it. I know pad thai and curry does have sweetness, but the flavors were unbalanced.

Great place for vegetarians and vegans looking for good Thai food. I hesitatingly asked our server if my noodles could be made without fish sauce and was delighted to hear that they could make any of the dishes without fish sauce or meat...! I'd like to go back to try some of their other menu items. I also sampled steamed vegetable dumpings which tasted very refreshing with its subtle basil flavoring. The restaurant does not have any lunch specials so you will end up ordering full portions. The place is a tad expensive but it's also good if you are s vegetarian or vegan craving good quality Thai food!

I placed an order for my office coworkers today...2 panang and 2 pad thai with a few sides and 7 thai teas. $180+ tip. Once I got back to the office and open the order it was not worth that price at all. Will not be returning

As a foodie I was skeptical about spaghetti noodles instead of flat wide noodles for their pad kee mao but the flavor did not disappoint! It was incredible!! I’ve apparently been making
Spaghetti wrong my whole life. My fiance ordered the tofu curry (vegan) dish and he said it was rich and creamy! The server was super nice and attentive. The restaurant was quaint and nicely decorated. We can’t wait to return and try their curry puffs. 10/10 recommend! Kudos to the chef!!

It was my first time there and everything was excellent. Just be careful with the level of spicy. They told me they used the chili from Thailand. Don't be that brave 😂 and I had read many reviews and I would be on their side without having any benefits. They just try to give real Thai food. Whatever you had tried might not be real Thai food. Don't trust what they tell you, ask Thai people they are the owner of the food.

I have been going to Thai Buri since they opened and never left a review (as I generally don't review anything). However, I feel it's time to do so. This restaurant is execellent. It's definitely the best Thai restaurant in San Antonio but it also outshines many other restaurants due to the quality of food and the service. I have never had a bad meal here. My favorites are the Ke Maw Spagetti and the Tom Yum Spagetti but I have tried other dishes and all are excellent. The service is definitely top notch. If you love Thai food, run there. If you have never tried Thai food, please go there and try it out. You won't regret it.

Yeahhh the whole experience just didn’t hit. We ordered pad kee mao, stir-fry spaghetti, and parang curry. My wife’s pad kee came out lukewarm and crazy salty with that super strong fish sauce smell. We asked if they could remake it and the waiter was like, ‘Well other customers ate the same batch…’ 😑
Then the rest of the food came and the spaghetti was ALSO salty with fish sauce. Curry was strong too but at least kinda tolerable. We were trying to be nice, but when we said the dishes were way too salty and wanted to decline them except curry the waiter goes, ‘We can’t take them back.’ That was the tipping point.
So we said no thanks to all the food. Manager came out and basically said they’ve been in business 5 years and everything is ‘measured’ and Thai food is supposed to be strong flavored. Like… this isn’t our first Thai restaurant 😂 but it was our first time walking out after being served.
Manager was polite but the argument made us feel like we were the problem for not having superhuman salt tolerance. Honestly, maybe the cook was just having a bad day since the reviews seem solid… but for a place next to Lowe’s in Stone Oak charging upper $20s, yeah, we’re not going back.

We have gone to this restaurant a few times before and was satisfied. My wife liked their khao soi and so we came back. This time we ordered the chicken pops, crispy duck and of course the khao soi and were surprized at how bad it was.
The chicken and duck in the first two dishes were hammered to the point of being like leather and the rice that came with the duck had no flavor. The khao soi was still decent, but for spending $70 total after tip for takeout for the above dishes I'd expect much better.

I had the Pad Thai shrimp and the shrimp was a little chewy. The food was tasty though. I thought the food was pricey.
