Good service and delicious food. Good serving size and the spicy level 4 is delicious. My wife said the 5 level is not that bad.
I came in with 3 children and three adults. We have a plant based diet and the waitress was wonderful at recommending dishes and adjusting them to meet our needs. The food was tasty and the kids, who are very picky ate everything without complaint. Will definitely return.
Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: The kiss were a little restless, but no one complained. Staff was friendly to our inquisitive children.
Parking: Plenty of parking.
This area of San Antonio has numerous Asian businesses, and is a favorite part of the city. The interior of the restaurant is fine, although the AC struggled when I was there. The staff was very polite and friendly. I had the Pad Ped, which was one of the best curries that I have ever eaten. I will certainly return to this location.
Vegetarian options: Easy to get an entree with Tofu, and have a delicious vegetarian meal.
Food quality was amazing. Spice level 3 is just at the point where it's hot but not painful. Egg rolls were crispy and delicious. Dinner was the perfect balance between salty, sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy!
Love this place! Glass noodles are so good! The owner is very friendly.
Vegetarian options: You can eliminate the meat in most dishes
Kid-friendliness: Family dining
Parking: Parking in front of restaurant
I’ve been coming here for many years. I brought my Granddaughter to eat here when she was a teenager and she loved it. Now she comes with her fiancé to enjoy the food.
Some of my favorite Thai food in the city. The service is always top notch and the food matches. The Thai tea is sooooooo damn good too.
Vegetarian options: Almost every dish comes with vegetarian options
I got the beef drunken noodles. Food was very flavorful, The lady that served me, I think the manager...was very friendly, good price for authentic Thai. I was there by myself, so the atmosphere was great being that I am mostly introverted.
The best pineapple rice and curry I highly recommend
Terrible. $16.99 for the smallest portions possible. The pictures of the menu are old. All the prices are much higher.

So good! We ordered delivery tonight because I had minor foot surgery and needed comfort food. I had the pineapple rice with shrimp. It was so so tasty.
I love this place been a regular for some years now. Pad see ewe is the best here
Oh I love this place...cannot remember the name of the salad with beef but it's the best!
What To Order: Beef Pad ThaiHave eaten at Thai Chalurn twice, both times the food was good to excellent. So far I've tried the Beef Pad Thai, and Beef Salad and both were really good. My food came out freshly prepared with crunchy vegetables and good flavor and spice levels. Portions are decently sized at both lunch and dinner.Service on both visits was excellent. The location faces east on Walzem and is a bit hidden. The lunch rush from Rackspace and other nearby businesses makes it a popular lunch spot, but less busy for dinner during the week.I would recommend giving Thai Chalurn a try.
My Fiancé and I drive all the way from the other side of town to eat here. I like to consider ourselves as “Thai Connoisseurs” traveling everywhere and anywhere to try different restaurants. Thai Chalurn BY FAR has the best Thai food in San Antonio. Authentic, fresh, NOT GREASY (which is typical for Thai food in SA?) it’s amazing. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so in the future.
