💯 best Thai place I’ve been to in SA. I am upset that I moved to the other side of town because now I have to keep driving 30+ minutes to get good food. Worth it tho!
Amazing food. Very pleased with the portions and taste. Will be going back.

Thai Lao 78 is a popular spot for vegan and vegetarian diners, offering a variety of tasty options like tofu soup, vegan spring rolls, and red or yellow curry with tofu. Many customers praise the bold flavors, especially the coconut curry, and friendly service. The owners serve generous portions made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. They remember regular customers’ usual orders, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Although currently focused on takeout, the restaurant provides fair prices and a cozy environment. It is a great place to enjoy made-to-order Thai cuisine at home, whether for a movie night or feeding loved ones. The dishes are known for their authentic flavors and large serving sizes, making it a top choice for lunch or dinner. Recent reviews highlight the cleanliness of the kitchen and friendly staff, with some customers enjoying the potstickers and Thai Tea. The Phuket Seafood Curry and Kung Pao are also appreciated, though some found the yakisoba with mixed vegetables and beef less satisfying due to the noodles and flavor not matching traditional recipes. The restaurant's udon stew remains a favorite among regulars, and the food is praised for being good and reasonably priced.
