Hope someone finds this helpful.Beware of where you park!!! If you go here and park here, stay here so you don't get towed!When I pulled up, I noticed a few cars in front but no one inside. Next thing, I saw a car getting towed.The bartender was cool. Had a good time. Location is in popular area.Parking: Be careful if you park here. THEY WILL TOW YOUR CAR IF YOU ARE NOT THERE.

This dump is unprofessional and not friendly! The place smelled like a sewer. Both men's and women's restrooms were in horrible condition. Only one stall for use while the other was full of sewer. People left throughout the night. The staff was shady and not friendly. The owners are rude and unprofessional. While attending a bday gathering, Staff was throwing belongings in trash without asking. When confronted about the situation. Staff acted dumb. People attending the party saw everything. The Amp Room staff also doesn't have respect for the other businesses across the street. It was a seen heard around patrons. What kind place hates on other venues, bars in front of patrons? - The Amp Room staff! Unprofessional all the way around inside and outside this venue. It won't matter if if there's a response to this review. You were not there to see and hear how this place is operated.One star for this review.

Stoked to come to San Antonio and find a place that offered kind of a goth/rocker atmosphere. We came in from California looking for something fun to do in the area, and this place had a great DJ, decently priced drinks and it wasn't too packed. I had a cider, the wait wasn't terrible. We came back for Halloween and it was pretty packed at that time but that's to be expected. All in all we enjoyed our time here
