We have been coming to the Angry Elephant and Roo Pub for the last 8 years, The past 3 years the Angry Elephant became headquarters to the Alamo City Bolts "LA Chargers" Thanks to Chip who has always treated us like family and Mike Tejeda who made sure we were taken care of during the games, We can't say enough for the staff they have assembled other then excellent and family.The FOOD is great we favor the snacks like Nacho Fries and the wings. We've tasted almost everything on their menu and never disappointed.The Atmosphere is beyond reproach, Easy going, kids are allowed I believe up to 9pm, Dart Boards, Pool Tables and Trivia games, make it a point to visit you won't be disappointed

Okay, I love that this bar mixes it up nightly. I also love that you can play tic-tac-toe in this shopping strip because there are three great and uniquely different bars in a row! First up for our bar hopping was Angry Elephant. Solid selection, a bit quieter, and it was nice that the bartender was actually a male (and therefore not half naked). Pretty casual place. Apparently, they do trivia on Wednesdays. That's cool. Great whiskey selection!

Ordered Reagan Burger. Was outstanding. Place was packed, but service was still very good. Nice friendly atmosphere. A rare find I thknk, because a group of adults can relax, as well as a family with kids.

Really cool sports bar. There's pool, karaoke stage and a full menu. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. My only quibble is that the Philly cheesesteak barely had any meat in it...which is why one gets a Philly. Other than that, I enjoyed a glass of wine across from my favorite President!

Came here on a vacation visit as I have family there, not even realizing it was a politically themed bar 'til I got there... and it was awesome! In the politically charged environments we are in now, it's fun to see something not taking politics so seriously (a part from the elephant being "angry" lol) and showing notable figures from both sides. The photos on the wall had some cool fairly rare photos of our past and present politicians. The bar has a great open feel and even a pool table. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the service. I sat down at the bar next to the register and the bar wasn't very busy. A guy behind the bar looked at me several times but always chose to help someone that just walked up even though I said "Hi" to him and proceeded to get my card out. It took 15 mins for a nice girl that was on the WAY other side of the bar to notice that I was looking for help, she even asked him if he helped me and he shrugged her off. Maybe he was having a bad day, but it was very unwelcoming. Once the nice girl came by, she kept an eye on me and she took care of me the rest of the night. Kudos to her for picking up the slack for that rude dude with the brown hair.

Mistake! We went because we saw SA Eats do a segment and it was nothing like what they reviewed! It’s a bar! Open and smoky! Food was ok but nothing special ?

I used to love going to the College Station Angry Elephant (before they removed the vegan dogs). I called the San Antonio location and asked if they had vegan dogs, the male who answered said he didn't know. I asked if he could look and he responded "I don't have a menu". I figured he was just busy so I drove there. They ended up not having the vegan dog... and the restaurant/bar wasn't busy and had multiple staff. I so wish I could give a good review but I can't. Disappointed

I’ve been coming to the elephant for a few years. Always a great spot. Sports, chill, pool, dates. The food is good. The staff is great.If you’re an old fashioned fan, they have good ice. ??Several bartenders have served me here, but Brant is awesome.
